Hello everyone,
I'm planning to take my test in July and I am doing Suzanne first plan. Is anyone out there thinking taking their test in July please come and help and share ideas..
Thanks
I'm hoping to take NCLEX in July. What is this Suzanne's plan that everyone is talking about?
suzanne is a moderator on this site that on her on free time helps students take review for the nclex....it is a sticky on the top of nclex discussion page...just click on it and follow her instructions. you will need saunders nclex review 4th edition if you are RN and 3rd edition for the LPN.
I am not doing all of Suzannes plan, just the 1st part. The rest I am doing question after questions everyday form various cds.
I have an odd question. If the question is an assessment question do I look for an assessment answer or do I look for analysis answer? For some reason, my brain is getting confused all of a sudden.
I am getting nervous about this test.

hmmm,
that depends...if it is an assessment question and you have all the information you need then you would implement.....if you need more data then you would assess....the stem may or may not give you all the data you need to go on futher....so dont automatically choose the assessment piece just because it is there...sometimes the question will try to trap you with this...i do look at the assessment choice very carefully to determine the outcome and if i dont need it then i look at the other answers. hope this helps and didnt confuse you more.
I am taking the NCLEX on July 8th. We had a great nurse from medspub come to our nursing school and give a week long review including a study guide. Since she writes questions for the test bank, her advice was very helpful. I also bought the NCLEX Review Book from Nursing Made Incredibly Easy because I like their stuff.
Good luck everyone!

Suzanne is one of the other moderators and she has done a plan which is free but you do have to meet her requirements which is explained in the sticky called 2008 version of Suzanne's plan which can be found on the main NCLEX forum page
