JU summer 2011 hopefuls

I'm new at this posting thing but it seems really helpful to talk to other people going through the same process of finding good schools and applying for the highly competitive programs. I figured i would try and start a new thread for anyone who is applying for the program that start at JU in May of 2011! :) Best of luck to everyone

I just accepted my seat for the accelerated program, woot! Now I need to start looking for a place to live and looking for a roommate as well...

Anyone can offer help/advice any guidance that this point would be helpful!

I looked at the class rosters in blackboard. It looks like a lot of us will be in the same classes. Good luck to everyone on waiting list. Hopefully you will be getting some good news very soon! :)

Thank you!! Being on the waiting list is really hard because you have no idea when or if you will get a seat. I could be waiting until the firstw eek of classes. But I am keeping a positive attitude and praying everyday that I get in...I know I am at least moving up the list from #7. Its so hard not to think about it!!

Does anyone know how much the total tuition (not books etc) just tuition based on credit hours is for the second degree accelerated program is. It is not very clear to me when I look at the tuition and I am trying to figure out how much I need in loans.

I am a waitlisted hopeful and according to my calculations...$553/per credit hour Summer

12-18 credit/hour Fall/Spring $12,650

  • Summer 2011- 12 credit/hour $6,636
  • Fall 2011 -14 credit/hour $12,650
  • Spring 2012 - 14 credit/hour $12,650
  • Summer 2012- 25 credit/hour $13,825

I am applying to JU for the fall as a transfer student, does anyone know if everyone gets and interview or if its selective?!

I was third. I'm sitting in the airport now because I has to accept a seat at another school out of state. Their orientation is tomorrow. So I had to decline and accept a seat in the same day! Crazy but relieved that I won't be rushing to move now. Both start may 9. I'm so excited keep the faith anything can happen from now until may!!!

Third? Seriously, only 3 people have declined out of all those applicants? I cannot believe that. Well that's awesome for you. I was #9 originally and I am really starting to lose hope. It's been an entire week since the decision date and you are telling me they've only called 3 people...that justs kinda blows my mind.
