Hi,
I'm new at this posting thing but it seems really helpful to talk to other people going through the same process of finding good schools and applying for the highly competitive programs. I figured i would try and start a new thread for anyone who is applying for the program that start at JU in May of 2011! :) Best of luck to everyone
my letter said the same (along with being on the wait list), but the way i understood it was that your application, etc...gets thrown in with the new applicant pool for the transfer program, you are not just automatically accepted. you still have to compete with those people for a spot to start in august. you might want to call or email chris to double check.
yes you are totally right! he told me that same thing. i will pray pray pray to get in. congrats to those who are for sure accepted! lol boy do i wish i were at peace of mind like you guys lol. sarahbanana did the letter redirect you for the fall transfer program as well? if i end up getting accepted i will know by the end of june chris said. hey this will give me time to move at a slower pace & get settled into jacksonville:p
** has anyone applied for fall transfer program! ***
i didn't get in!!does anyone know how many spots are open for fall term?
if not, i've been accepted to start in july at chamberlain college of nursing! good luck to all nurse to be's
im sorry! i didn't either i got redirected to the fall transfer program from the 2nd degree i wanted but whatev's lol (not even to the may-transfer program) so it definately looks like it's a jammed-packed program (as we say here in ri hehe). anyway, look at the bright side you got into a nursing school girlie congratulations and good luck
Hi everyone,I am new to this discussion but I was accepted into the Transfer Program and will begin classes in May. I just wanted to kind of get to know a few people before the first day of class! But congrats to everyone who got into both programs. I have already registered for my classes, and activated my JU online account. But like Grenkr I can not log on to my email! I keep typing the correct email address and password and it keeps telling me it is invalid as well. I have even called the help desk and had my password reset, but it still will not work! But I am looking foward to getting to know everyone on here, and in the classroom
How did you register for classes? Did you do it online? If so how do you do that. I have an appointment on Wed to register for classes but if I can do it online I would rather do that!
I wonder if we all have the same exact classes..
Oh, and my email is STILL not working lol
Grenkr,
I searched for you on facebook and i couldn't find you My name is Casie Hemmingway, so try searching for me! But I registered for classes by going to see an academic advisor, I went to the admissions office to pay my enrollment fee and asked to speak to one and he set me all up! So I would recommend doing that because it's nice to have an experts help! But I registered for all morning classes because they fit my work schedule best. But I finally got my email to work! I found out that when I had my password reset by the tech help desk the guy told me the wrong password, go figure, so now I can log in. But I have yet to recieve anything at the email address anyways so I wouldn't sweat it!

Ok, I sent you a request :) I have an appointment on Wed. to do that, so I hope there are still classes left at the time I need them lol. Yeah my email is being annoying hah. I am going to call them tomorrow and see what's up!
Hi everyone,
I am new to this discussion but my name is Kayla and I was also accepted into the Transfer Program for Summer 2011. I am very excited, as I'm sure all of you are as well. :) I met with an adviser last Thursday that helped out a lot with class registration. Anyone who is having trouble, I highly suggest doing that. I'm taking all afternoon classes the first 6 weeks, and a mix between morning and afternoon the second 6 weeks. The 7am class that we all have to take the second 6 weeks is really going to be a killer. lol. Anyways, Congrats to everyone and I look forward to meeting you all soon!

I made my payment online 2 days ago and I'm still waiting for my email to tell me how to log in and register for classes. How long does it take to get that email? Or can I log in without it on some web page? Please let me know....
Tnx!
