Hi,
I'm new at this posting thing but it seems really helpful to talk to other people going through the same process of finding good schools and applying for the highly competitive programs. I figured i would try and start a new thread for anyone who is applying for the program that start at JU in May of 2011! :) Best of luck to everyone
Hi all!! Wow, I don't know why allnurses hasn't been sending me my update emails! I missed a lot of posts!
So, I called frst thing this morning and found out that I am 9th on the wait list. That's not too bad!! I am hoping that still leaves me a good chance to be starting in May with the accelerated program. So, I am being positive, my husband is supporting me 100%, but my mom is being a total Debbie Downer. She thinks I am not going to get in and thinks the language in their letter is too vague. I'm not confused, though, I know exactly what it means! Plus, Chris told me he was sending out more emails to the wait listed people soon to explain things more. it's so frustrating when the person you want to please doesn't support you.
Do you already have a bachelors degree? I am not sure what the transfer one is. The accelerated program is 16months and its summer, fall, spring, summer. It is an accelerated program for students with a bachelors program. The regular BSN is for students doing the 2 year track
Oh okay, transfer of for students who already have their AA. This will be my first bachelors degree. We do summer, fall, spring, fall, spring. I believe we all have the same classes up untill the summer part. I am not positive though but online that is what it shows.

I am so sorry to hear that I don't know what I would do without family support. I was actually opposite. I doubted myself and my family kept me going. Do not doubt yourself for one minute because someone else doesn't believe in you!!! Believe in yourself and anything can happen! Don't forget, you have all of us to support you as well!!
Stay positive :)
Okay thanks a million that was very helpful.
