JU summer 2011 hopefuls

I'm new at this posting thing but it seems really helpful to talk to other people going through the same process of finding good schools and applying for the highly competitive programs. I figured i would try and start a new thread for anyone who is applying for the program that start at JU in May of 2011! :) Best of luck to everyone

I got accepted into the accelerated program! Wheww whooo. That wait was torture - not as bad as the hefty student loans I may have to take out. I'm stressed already. Anyone really hesitant to accept b/c of the cost of the program? I need to make a decision soon!

[color=rgb(153, 50, 204)]omg congratulations girlies!! i'm devastated that i haven't received anything yet! well i live in ri still for a few more weeks til i go to fl; being in ri only makes the letter get here later. sheesh, well i applied to the second degree program for those who also did ;) i am keeping my fingers crossed til monday or tuesday!!

again, congratulations girls :) those who are waitlisted: keep your head up, stay positive, patience is a virtue.

the group namei created on facebook is "ju nursing class of 2013"...add it when you get a chance! it definitely will be a great way for all of us to get to know eachother!

Congratulations!!!! What program? I got accepted into the transfer program. The group on Facebook is called JU Nursing Class of 2013. Look forward to meeting you! :)

UPDATE! In another posting, someone who was accepted into JU said they are going to deny and go to a different school....so....that is one person from the waiting list that will get accepted!!

So stay positive :)

I already sent my letter accepting my seat so I hope to meet you all!!!

I don't know if it was me you were referring to, but I did send in my decline email this morning. Hopefully, one of the waitlisted people will get a call! Good luck to you all!

runnermom, no I was talking about someone else in a different posting so that is actually TWO seats open that we know of. Although you are not accepting, congrats on getting accepted! :) Good luck on whatever program you choose!

Did someone say they got a 20k scholarship? Sorry I didn't make the group yet I was out of town all weekend. Also is the 2013 group for regular or Accelerated BSN?

I am not sure the difference? I got accepted into the transfer program and I just made one because I had not heard anything from you and didn't know if you were still planning on making one.

I can delete the one I made (I don't really know how to do it anyway lol).

How is accelerated different?
