JU summer 2011 hopefuls

I'm new at this posting thing but it seems really helpful to talk to other people going through the same process of finding good schools and applying for the highly competitive programs. I figured i would try and start a new thread for anyone who is applying for the program that start at JU in May of 2011! :) Best of luck to everyone

Peca2234, you can call Chris and he will tell you what number you are on the waiting list. That is what he told me after my interview if I were to get wait listed.

If you look under the name of the person you are trying to send a private message to, it will say registered user. Next to that will be little icons...one that looks like a little piece of paper and a pencil. If you click on that it will allow you to send a private message to that specific person.

Thanks guys! I agree, waiting list is better than nothing. I'm calling first thing Monday to find out my spot. Has anyone else on the waiting list checked their spot?

here's some information regarding pms (private messages):

how do i send private messages?

private messages work a little like email, but are limited to registered members with 15+posts. you may include bb code, smilies and images in private messages that you send.

you may send a private message to a member by clicking the 'send new message' link in the private messaging section of your user control panel, or by clicking the page_edit.gif 'send a private message' icon that appears in a member's posts when you click on their username.

when you send a message, you have the option to save a copy of it in your 'sent items' folder.

UPDATE! In another posting, someone who was accepted into JU said they are going to deny and go to a different school....so....that is one person from the waiting list that will get accepted!!

So stay positive :)

I already sent my letter accepting my seat so I hope to meet you all!!!

Hey everyone! I know chelseae was going to start a page on Facebook, but I have not heard anything so I went ahead and made one! If anyone on here has a Facebook, the page is called "JU Nursing Class of 2013". You will find my personal page on there. So look it up and become a part of the group so that we can all get to know eachother before the program begins!

[color=rgb(153, 50, 204)]omg congratulations girlies!! i'm devastated that i haven't received anything yet! well i live in ri still for a few more weeks til i go to fl; being in ri only makes the letter get here later. sheesh, well i applied to the second degree program for those who also did ;) i am keeping my fingers crossed til monday or tuesday!!

again, congratulations girls :) those who are waitlisted: keep your head up, stay positive, patience is a virtue.
