JU summer 2011 hopefuls

Published

Hi,

I'm new at this posting thing but it seems really helpful to talk to other people going through the same process of finding good schools and applying for the highly competitive programs. I figured i would try and start a new thread for anyone who is applying for the program that start at JU in May of 2011! :) Best of luck to everyone

I see a lot of people that got accepted into the second-degree and accelerated programs...anyone get accepted into the transfer program or atleast applied to the transfer program and is waiting for a response? I feel like I'm on my own so far lol

CONGRATS once again everyone :)

are people already in the group on FB, I wouldn't want to start a new one if people are already in that one starting up conversations, etc.

No, no one yet. A few people have said they want to join but no one actually has.

I think a new one needs to be made since no one can find the one that was made. Also aren't we class of 2012, at least for the 2nd degree program?

there is only a transfer program or the second degree (which is the accelerated program) thats what I think

am I right?

I couldn't find the page but someone should make one page for the second degree program since we are graduating in 2012 and not 2013

anyone wants to do that?

ANYONE accepted into transfer program? Seems like everyone is second-degree/accelerated...

Hello all, this is my 1st post. I was accepted into the 2nd degree program and I am VERY excited. I don't think I've ever wanted anything as bad as I want to be a nurse. Good luck to those on the waiting lists. I will be praying for you. Congrats to everyone that was accepted into a JU nursing program. I am looking forward to seeing you at orientation.

I think I am a transfer as well since I am getting my first b.s. I have not gotten anything yet. Did you get accepted?

i originally applied for the second degree program, i didn't get in for that but according to my letter it's not just a plain no like some colleges will do. apparently it was all an accommodation based decision because of eeeeveryone who applied for second degree. sure it was the one i wanted, but the spots run out i guess. my letter saids i demonstrate great qualities and academics that they are giving me a choice to be considered for transfer program!!! umm it's a no brainer, ofcourse ...as long as i am in that is. maybe this is better for me anyway  sooo grenkr i guess you're not alone lol:lol2:

AH, it's great to hear someone else is towards the same program as I am lol. Seems like most in this thread are going for second-degree. Yes I got accepted and have already sent my acceptance letter. I really hope you get in! If you still have not received something I would call the school. If you get accepted let me know!

:) Good luck!
