Hi,

I'm new at this posting thing but it seems really helpful to talk to other people going through the same process of finding good schools and applying for the highly competitive programs. I figured i would try and start a new thread for anyone who is applying for the program that start at JU in May of 2011! :) Best of luck to everyone

Welcome to the thread and congrats!!! :) I also got accepted into the summer 2011 transfer program and have also sent my email to save my spot! I guess we will be meeting soon! If you have a facebook, maybe we can eventually get each others so we can get to know one another before classes start!

Does anyone know for the 2nd degree program if we will be going to class monday through friday or is friday off? Tnx again!

It does seem like everyone is getting accepted into the 2nd degree program. I'm still keeping high hopes as well that I get the call or letter to be accepted. I called today to see where I am on the wait list but I just got a vm and didn't get a chance to call back. I will tomorrow though and post what I find out. I applied to the transfers program... EEEEEEEEE!!! So excited for the possibility still. I really hope I will get the chance to be meeting all of you too!

I hope you get accepted! That will be at least one girl I know since we met already because our interviews were on the same day! lol Same program to! :)

I talked to someone who graduated from the 2nd degree, and she said class is Mon-Thurs.

I couldn't find the page but someone should make one page for the second degree program since we are graduating in 2012 and not 2013

i originally applied for the second degree program, i didn't get in for that but according to my letter it's not just a plain no like some colleges will do. apparently it was all an accommodation based decision because of eeeeveryone who applied for second degree. sure it was the one i wanted, but the spots run out i guess. my letter saids i demonstrate great qualities and academics that they are giving me a choice to be considered for transfer program!!! umm it's a no brainer, ofcourse ...as long as i am in that is. maybe this is better for me anyway sooo grenkr i guess you're not alone lol:lol2:

my letter said the same (along with being on the wait list), but the way i understood it was that your application, etc...gets thrown in with the new applicant pool for the transfer program, you are not just automatically accepted. you still have to compete with those people for a spot to start in august. you might want to call or email chris to double check.

Sarahbanana, did you say you've already checked your spot on the wait list? If so, did you email or call and was it the man or woman? I didn't want to say names on here.
