Does anyone happen to know when they start doing interviews and also when we'll start receiving acceptance or rejection notifications?

Thanks guys, I will definitely need loans lol, I will make my way to JU this week and talk with an advisor, Thanks again

Not a problem and feel free to share you're findings. Best of luck.

so i went to webadvisor and looked at my award letter, ive been approved for half tuition for fall/spring:(...didnt see 09-10 summer semester, went to fin aid this morning and was told that my 09-10 fafsa form isnt showing up on JU system, called fafsa was told that i had indeed completed 09-10 fafsa form and they have no idea why JU doesnt see it :(, so im gonna call fin aid tomorrow and see whats going on and also are any of you 23 years old and live at home and dont want to apply for parent plus loan??lol My parents arent really feeling that idea :( sadface today and confusion

make sure you get your financial aid done for the summer asap! I had that problem last year. the financial aid office made me think everything was set when it wasn't and had to leave the program. A lot of miscommunication on their part. But i got accepted again for this May. You gotta nag them and make sure that you get the right financial aid and the right amount to cover for your tuition. Go through loan portals on the financial aid page for the ju website. Also if you need an alternative loan you can get one. Make sure you have enough for tuition and living.

Thanks for the advice, I nagged them today lol, they found my fafsa for the summer, I filled out several forms, and did my entrance exam, so now im waiting on the award letter in which my advisor said will be in this friday on webadvisor and im also taking out more loans..I can totally see them miscommunicating, they arent really that organized:uhoh3:

I checked the online bookstore for the two books we will need for the first six weeks of classes......for a grand total of $378.99. OMG...I am having a heart attack. Does anyone know if they sell these books anywhere else or if we can get our hands on some used ones?

WOW!!!

I'm going to try to use my magic to see if I come up with an alternate place to find these books for cheaper.

I will also ask my friend who is in the program if she and her classmates still have the books available and see what response I get.

Thank you...I am looking online at half.com with the isbn number they provided on ju's bookstore webpage but am having no luck. ISBN# 9781437746969

I've been doing the same with that ISBN. It might be one of those books that the publisher works directly with the school to provide so it's not going to be as easy to find online. :crying2:

I just sent a text message to my friend and will post as soon as I get a response.

what school is JU?

Hi , first of all , I wanna say congratulations to all the people in the thread that have been accepted , I know it was such a long and tiring process , so kudoss :) , for those who unfortunately didnt get in , keep trying ,dont give up

Im myself applying to the program in August ,Im hoping I can get in, since there no other thread about JU other than this one , I guess I'll stop by here and make a post (its crazy how there are numerous threads about FSCJ , but little to none about JU)

Hopefully I can get some insights about the field as well as the finance ,how are you going to pay for the tuition ??

Thank you , again , congrats and good luck :)
