JU 2nd degree program

Published

Does anyone happen to know when they start doing interviews and also when we'll start receiving acceptance or rejection notifications?

The books are not in yet. They should be in the bookstore in the next 1-2weeks.

noxtel21 I sent you a pm...hope you get it.

Yeah I got it thanks! I'm always connected so when somebody post to this thread I get an email on my phone and it's the same for PM's. I like getting info instantly so I have most updates from all over coming to my cell!

Thanks for all the info.

can anybody give me information about the timeline (starts and ends) of the second degree program, as well as the cost? any info would be greatly appreciated! :)

You might want to check here and calculate what you're cost will be because it will be different for everyone depending on you're unique situation.

Same here. May 6th and was told to plan to be there "ALL DAY"

lol yeah I was told it was an all day event and there would be team building and other activities...I asked if we could bring a guest and was told not too, I guess I thought it would be like my boyfriends orientation (Physician Assistant)..I accompanied him and was hoping to return the favor but that wont be happening lol Oh well, still excited :)

Team building really? Sorry to hear that you couldn't bring you're guest bf. My good friend is starting the Physician Assistant graduate program in the Summer, great program I was told. I'm just trying to do the math on how much this all cost etc... and hoping that gas prices to get to high this summer!! Have you gotten you're campus ID and decals etc...?

I got my shots today.....ouch!

Sorry to hear that!

I get mines this weekend if I need any. Doubt I do because the military loves to make sure you have all you're shots.

I did call financial aid several times to figure out how much it all cost and to get everything in order. You can login and check the status of you're financial aid for the Summer semester here: https://webadvisor.ju.edu/WebAdvisor/WebAdvisor?TOKENIDX=7709047357&SS=LGRQ&URL=https://webadvisor.ju.edu/WebAdvisor/WebAdvisor%3FTYPE%3DM%26PID%3DCORE-WBMAIN%26TOKENIDX%3D7709047357

Then under the Financial aid tab click Financial aid status by term or year. You can also view and print you're award letter.

There is also a link for a financial aid load application.

I was also offered the $7000 scholarship but it said that it was to go towards Fall & Spring (could be different for you)

Was you're FAFSA for you're 2009 tax year? If so that award will go towards Fall, Spring, and Summer 2011. You're 2008 tax year FAFSA will go towards our first semester this Summer. (The Financial aid year goes from Fall to Summer)

If you have further questions you can reply here or drop me a PM.

If you are going to use a loan to pay for school you will also need to fill out the master promissory note and entrance counseling. This can be found at the JU/financial aid website. You can meet with an advisor at JU....no appointment is necessary, you just walk in.

Thanks guys, I will definitely need loans lol, I will make my way to JU this week and talk with an advisor, Thanks again
