I haven't seen any threads yet about the Johns Hopkins accelerated MSN program for Spring of 2018 so I thought I would start one to chat with other hopefuls like myself!
Also, if anyone who has previously been accepted into the program, any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! For now, I have a few questions:
-Does anyone know if all parts of the application are weighed equally or which ones they place the most emphasis on?
- I took the GRE once and I scored in the 82nd percentile for verbal reasoning (score: 159), 93rd percentile for analytical writing (score: 5), and the 55th percentile in quantitative reasoning (score: 154 ) Should I retake it to improve my math score? My fear is that I'll take it again and do worse!
- What is their acceptance rate?
- Any good tips for the personal statements? I'm finding that it's very difficult to articulate why I want to be a nurse without sounding cheesy.
- Where else are y'all applying?

I applied just before July 1st. The original due date was July 1st, but then they extended it to August 15th.
You're right, July 1st was technically the deadline. I don't know what order they send them out in but I wouldn't worry too much! I don't think they've picked everyone yet. It seems like a small group so far. :)
Congrats to all who have been accepted. I'm also anxiously awaiting news. Got my application in August 15 on the dot, so hoping that they are going somewhat by order received (gotta keep the dream alive! ha!)
Hi everyone. Per NursingCAS it looks like they are still accepting applications with a deadline of 10/1. I will be submitting mine today while I still wait for a few letters of recommendations to roll through.
Congrats to everyone who has been offered the admission. I applied the first priority deadline July 1st but I have not heard anything yet. No mail or Email. I wish who still waiting for the decision all the best.

Hi there! Thank you so much for sticking around to answer "newbie" questions (I'm hoping you may still be checking your account / willing to answer)... I just got into the JHU MEN program and have been trying to temper my excitement until I figure out the actual cost of the full program (my research has led me to a mix of answers). Any chance you might be able to give me a ballpark of the full cost of tuition, etc.?

I actually applied very late. I think maybe August 10th everything was in. I got my acceptance September 1st. Best of luck to everyone who applied
