Hey! I am starting to apply for the traditional BSN/MSN program at Johns Hopkins, and I was wondering if anyone else is out there freaking out about their applications!

CONGRATULATIONS, Aimee & Johnny! :) So glad for all three of us! :) I wonder if they're calling past 5pm - like an extra hour of calling just to make people's week. That would be so cool! :)

I just arranged an interview for tomorrow, so..hopefully that will go well and help sway the decision to help get me in :-)

I like interviews but I'm kinda nervous about it now that I think about it. Small yikes. Its one hour long??

What tracks did everyone get into? The ABSN to MSN one?

omigosh! i got a call today from hopkins, but i missed it and by the time i called back, they were closed! (i'm on the west coast) ahhhH!!! i'm going to be freaking out until tomorrow! do you think that they make calls to tell people they didn't get in!?!? :(

(i applied for early decision for the 2009 Accelerated BSN)

No, they do not call applicants to deliver news of non-acceptance. Call Mary O'Rourke tomorrow at 9a EST and I'm sure she'll tell you the good news.

By the way...I attended the State of the School address given by the Dean last week and she mentioned that the pool of applicants was superb this year, so congratulations to all of you, you deserve it! ;)

I got my call from Megan (sp?) this afternoon - I'm in too! I went out in the snowstorm for a celebratory dinner, but the news still hasn't sunk in... I'm sure it will come May! I'm assuming everyone else who's hearing this week worked as hard as I did for this - congrats to all of us, we deserve it! I can't wait to meet all you guys this spring!

Congratulations to all of you who've received your phone calls or are about to!

I've been here quietly reading for the past two years and decided to join in. I'd love to know more about the interview process. I didn't do early decision and my interview is upcoming very soon. I'm flying in for a couple of days to interview in person, check out Johns Hopkins and have a look at Baltimore.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
