  1. PVT works!!! Took my exam on Wednesday, and got the good pop up on getting home. Today I confirmed my pass on Pearsonvue site after paying the required fee. Good luck to those still waiting for their results.
  2. I will be graduating next week. Your experience depends on your backround. Are u AA? It is not a diverse school, and if you have no problem with attending an almost all white school, then you will enjoy it. However, if you are black, it might be a different experience.
  3. Just arrived in Rochester this evening. Anyone else around? Maybe we can meet before the classes start on Tuesday. I live on Elmwood Ave, and its not bad at all.
  4. Spoiled1Re: Any black male nurses out there? Commuter, I am starting to notice the same thing here...not a lot of African-Americans, but a lot of Africans. Interesting... I am hoping to work in an ICU and I am sure there will be few if any African American people there I am begining to think that AA are more discriminatory than any group.I never hear whites talk about "german immigrants, Danish etc immigrants", but for AA's Africans are not 'black'. Remember at first Obama wasn't black too( Bob Rush). As an African and an American, do I still need to provide some bona fides to qualify as a black man.
  5. Then there must be some other dude. I'm not renting from Neyda. Still making arrangements at an apartment :Elmwood Court. Tried the University Apts, but no vacancy, just a long waiting list. Anyways, just waiting for the financial aid package. Really not quite settled on attending. Might still change my mind as I'm not completely sold yet on the school administration. Waiting to hear from an alumni as to how students are treated. It's a lot of money to be paid for what I consider 'not so good' management of student issues.
  6. I might be the only guy in the class. You are correct. I spoke with Mr. Abbot last week and he directed me to complete 08/09 FAFSA. Did you receive any awards/scholarships? I didn't receive any.
  7. I will be there for sure. Still working out the financial logistics though.
  8. Absent any unforeseen events, I will be there. The school is very expensive though. Hope to see you then.
  9. Yes I did apply to all the awards. No I am from the DC Metro. Have you made up your mind on attending? Are u done with pre requisites? I taking my last one class online.
  10. I will be attending U of R this May. Has anyone heard anything about financial awards etc? What are you plans for accommodation?
  11. Congrats! Maybe 2morrow.
  12. I applied late September and was interviewed 3 weeks later but still waiting on them. They are so vague when it comes to providing info. Why not send her an email asking about the interview. Good luck.
