Johns Hopkins Accelerated Summer Entry for BSN/MSN 2014

Hi everyone! As the early and regular decision deadlines for the Hopkins accelerated programs approach, I thought I would start a new thread for this year. It seems like it's been a pretty useful source of support for prior applicants during this grueling process :)

My call came on Tuesday and the mail came on either Friday or Saturday (I was out of town).

Hi All! I'm new to the chain but will be joining those accepted to the JHU May 14 ABSN program..in just several weeks now! Congrats to all! I am very, very excited but a little nervous to get started! I was actually accepted last year for the fall program but deferred because they offered me a scholarship. Is anyone going to the accepted students day? I can't make it on Friday because of work but will be attending the April 18 one. Also, is there a facebook group? I didn't see one last time I looked... Excited to meet everyone!

Congratulations! There is a Facebook group and if you scroll up a few pages you'll probably see a link. One for the fall and one for summer. Once you're in it should be easier to connect with those of us attending the accepted students day!

Hey guys! So I know this is for the Summer entry BSN/MSN, but there doesn't seem to be a thread for the Fall entry ABSN (well, I made one but nobody else has answered). Anyway, I just got accepted to the Fall ABSN (not the BSN/MSN), with a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer scholarship! Very exciting. Hope to see some of you there, even though you'll have already started.

Does anyone know the name of company that took pictures are the Accepted Student Day reception on 3/28?

In addition, does anyone know the name of the FB page for the Johns Hopkins ABSN Summer Start 2014?

I did not find the FB group name. Perchance do you know the name of the group?

It seems that the photos sent to me by the company that took pictures at Accepted Student Day did not come through. Hence, I am trying to connect with anyone who received their photos, or might know the name of the photography company.

In my academic career I have never been treat as well as I have by the admission staff at Johns Hopkins.

Moreover, it appears that Johns Hopkins is not only the highest ranking nursing school in the country, but also provides students with opportunities for world class professional development.

During my recent visit I found Baltimore to be a culturally diverse, and friendly city. Museums, parks and historical landmarks are plentiful.

Best of luck making your selection as Columbia is another unparalleled institution.
