Hi guys! The deadline for John Muir Health is approaching, and thought I would make thread for the Fall 2022 app cycle. Best of luck to you all! Did you specify what units you wanted in your CV?

I have an ICU interview tomorrow! Did they ask behavioral type questions or was a more of a get to know you interview? Also where you the only candidate being interviewed? Did they mention what ICU units they are hiring for? Sorry for all the questions LOL I hope your interview went well today!

LOL! Not even one minute passed since I posted and you replied!! You’ve been waiting! Lolll! 
 

No mention of a unit at all! Thankfully I was the only candidate being interviewed. Definitely trying to get to know you questions. I did not have any situational questions!

Haha yes I’ve been waiting ? I just moved here from out of state and the job search has been a bit difficult so I’m hoping this one goes well tomorrow ? will definitely update!

Just finished my interview today. It went really well. Ended in discussion and giggling so fingers crossed! I was asked questions like about a time when a patient got mad and how we handled it, a time I got constructive criticism, etc. I did my preceptorship in CVICU, good luck to everyone with your interviews!

Do you happen to rememebr which number you got a phone call from to schedule the interview?

I don’t recall the phone number but it was from a Walnut Creek number area code 925

Did my interview today, it went pretty well it was a panel with like 6 people and they were all super nice! I asked when we would hear back about offers and they said they’re interviewing for 2 more weeks and should know by the 20th. Hopefully we know before that ?

Did they send out med/surg interview invites? or just ICU? Anxiously waiting LOL

Right I haven't heard anyone mention med surg at all! I'm hoping you hear from them soon. You ICU people who got an interview, were there NICU managers present?

I didn't have an interview, but I did attend the zoom session the day prior to the application deadline and they mentioned they did not have any NICU openings for this current cohort ?

Oh man! thank you for telling me. I was totally misled because they had it as an option under available units. Did they say if they had L&D or Mother baby?

Yeah unfortunately the units listed as available were not totally accurate, I can't remember off the top of my head if they had mentioned they had some L&D or mother baby openings. I believe they did not mentioned explicitly whether they did or did not have any openings for those. Hoping you will still be called for an interview!
