Hi guys! The deadline for John Muir Health is approaching, and thought I would make thread for the Fall 2022 app cycle. Best of luck to you all! Did you specify what units you wanted in your CV?

On the phone she told me it was 2 references and that’s it could be professors or preceptors as well, I feel like 5 is too much

I received a call yesterday afternoon for an interview and did not receive the email for reference until today around 5pm. 

I didn't specify which unit I wanted in my cover letter nor was a unit mentioned over the phone. 

If you interview before the 7th, would you be so kind and share the interview questions you were asked! Would greatly appreciate it!!

I definitely stumbled through my interview and I think it's because they had poker faces. I'm used to interviews where our energies match...

Oh goodness.. I am the same way. What unit was it for? I have a hard time with those types of interviews..

For those who have received interviews and listed their references, what relationship did you use for your preceptor? I think Supervisor would fit best but I'm not so sure...I know she said that we had to be very specific with the relationship or it could cause delays...

Do you still think they are giving out interviews? ? I specified I wanted med-surg in my cover letter

I specified med-surg in my cover letter too, and so far no calls from JM. I think they might not have a need for additional staff in med-surg at this time. That and/or my chances are just thin because I am not licensed yet and still waiting to get my ATT. Still keeping my hopes up though. Best of luck to everyone!

Yeah same, I mentioned that I was interested in med-surg and I haven't heard anything back yet. During the zoom information session they did say the interviews are expected to continue up till June 18th, so I'm trying to keep my hopes up.

Finished my interview today.. when I received the phone call to schedule my interview the unit wasn’t specific.. so I went in blind! 
 

It was a panel interview consisting of 6 people and I want to say it was for the ICU because everyone there was for the ICU ? Unless they help to hire for other units.
