wow!!!!!
Yeah, I know. I saved the telephone message for poops and giggles and played it for my husband, he wanted to faint. Hopefully an offer like that will be around in a couple months!

My job paid my way through school, so they had to hire me when I got my license. But, there seems to be not much trouble for LPNs to get jobs here in New York.

I live in Iowa. I found out that I passed boards on 11/2 and got 2 jobs offers by 12/10. I accepted a job at an Assisted Living facility. I make $18/hr during the week and $20/hr on the weekend, which is more than some RN's in Iowa, depending on where you work.

I'm a Jersey girl, had no luck before NCLEX, after I was offered home care, agency, & LTC immediately. I wanted solid experience so I took the LTC, 1 month orientation and 17.50 to start.

Meanbird, one month orientation is wonderful. I just left a shady place that was only giving 3 days orientation. It is a large corp and that is all they given anyone. It is ridiculous.
