After probably 150 applications, I FINALLY got a call for an interview today! I don't know a single contact in a hospital, I did my clinicals and went to school 800 miles away, every single application I've submitted has been ignored up until now. It's such a sign of the times that I'm this excited about an interview. Not a job offer, just an actual face to face meeting with someone that is interested in hiring me as an RN.
It's not a hospital, it's no where near the specialty that I am most interested in, but it IS experience. Please, please, please let this interview go well. I'm 30 years old, and have never been this nervous for an interview before.
No matter how the job situation goes, try to enjoy your time with your daughter and not let your sadness or distress show too much. Once you are working, the time you spent with her will be even more precious. Treat this time as a hidden gift from above. The job will come soon enough. Good luck.

Hold your chin up and don't give up. Don't be too sorry if the interview was cancelled. You will get a call soon. Be positive and pray. As the saying goes, "when a door of opportunity closes, another one opens.."
