???? why is it fair for your co-workers aloud to come to work cussing, talking about their sex life and not written up or sent home? why is it that someone comes to work talking about god their written up or their sent home is that fair?
Maybe she didn't think you were a good match. She's looking for the best employee for the job, and this includes getting along with the people already there, not someone that sits in their car isolating. But it does seem strange that she told you to stay away from gossip and when you told her how you dealt with it, she was turned off.Next time leave it all out. If someone tells you "stay away from the gossips", say "thanks for the advice. I'll do that".....instead of saying "yeah, I'm so turned off by sex talk, and f-this and f-that". Keep it simple.
Take this as a learning experience rather than being discriminated against because you believe in God.
thank you tweety for your advice. but know tweety how many co-wokers do you know that does their best to a volved going to the break room, or the smoking area because of the swearing that goes on? and you don't have to talk about god ? if it looks like im trying to argy im sorry its not my intention.
i have didn't say anything to the interview about god.Yeah, I think regardless of god or the "F" word, telling your potential employer that you can't socialize with others and instead spend time hiding out in your car to be a big red flag. In interviews, don't we try to put our BEST food forward? Before you alienate yourself from your potential future co-workers, wouldn't it be good to first see if you can actually find a friend there to spend breaks with?
period and two she doesn't know i beleive in god.

Now I am really confused. You the OP wrote about discrimination based on talking about god. Now you say it had nothing to do with talking about god, because you didn't. I think you are upset that you did not get the job that you were interviewing for and are trying to blame it on discrimination. I see none.
Pray for them, OP. Privately, just between you and God. Forgive them, too.For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against....spiritual wickedness in high places.
See.....even this, spoken in earnest (I assume) can sound condescending and even threatening to those who are not coming from the same "place" as you are.
OP...I can see why you could be inadvertantly misunderstood.
No one who offers up to the interviewer the insight that you gave her about how you percieve the existing staff can actually expect to be hired. Your mistake was giving out TOO much personal information. You must play the game! In America we must (or at least try to) smile through life...good and bad (it's expected)...and that would probably serve you well in your job hunt.

Thanks. I let it slide without commenting but since you did. The "spiritual wickedness in high places" reference could definately be misunderstood.
