Anyone applying for CEP in January? Im super excited that our time is almost here!!! I'll be applying to GWCC evenings and NAU.

January will be here in no time! I applied for CEP in May. If placed, I should start the MCCCD block in Spring 2017. How many more pre-reqs do you have left before you can apply?

Wow, congrats on applying! I know you are super excited. I'm taking two electives now for Summer then Bio 205 for fall and I'm done. What university did you apply to? I wish you the best!!

Alright! You are so close! I really enjoyed BIO205. It ended up being my favorite class. I applied for NAU and ASU with NAU as my first choice. I hear that CEP has gained a lot of popularity so it's possible that some students may not be placed :/ Have you already received your time stamp, or are they not doing that anymore?

Dani.cross11 have you heard anything from NAU or the community colleges? I also applied on May to start the cep this fall and block one in spring!

Hi Ashleymariee! As of now, I haven't heard anything from either school. I was told that we should hear something around the third week if June.. I plan to be as patient as possible through this week, but will be reaching out to my advisor first thing next week if I don't hear anything! :)

Thank you for letting me know! :) I hope we find out this week because I am getting so anxious. I plan to do the same!

Good luck to you and ashleymariee! I also applied for CEP in May. I applied to ASU and NAU with NAU being my first choice. Hoping to hear something soon!

Thank you, Aavargas13! Good luck to you as well!

I created a separate post for us May applicants (titled: May 2016 CEP applicants)... Another person posted that she heard from an NAU rep last week and they told her that they won't be informing students for another two weeks! :/

AZNurse2B18 It sounds like you will possibly start Maricopa Block 1 Fall of 2017 correct? If that's right then we are in line together. :) I am doing the MAT course in Aug so will apply to Maricopa Nursing in January '17, should hopefully then start block 1 in the fall next year.

What do you understand to be the big differences b/w ASU vs. NAU? Anyone else please chime in, I think that effects whether I take MAT 141 or 142. I've had conflicting info on that...

Thanks

I know this isn't really the right post to ask this question but I'm new. I went to the prenursing meeting at Estrella Mountain and am a little confused about the application process. Do you take the 4 main prereq classes, then apply for nursing school and get put into a pool? And then you have to apply to the individual school that you want to go to? Or apply separately for Cep? She said something about having to apply twice. If anyone could clear this up for me I would greatly appreciate it. Tia!

So when you have your pre requs done you can apply and be out into the pool. When you do that they have you list the schools you want to go to. Then you finish the co requs for the CEP and turn in another application just for CEP and again you list the schools you want to go to on that application. Hope this is helpful.
