January CEP applicants?

U.S.A. Arizona

Hi fellow students! I am applying to the CEP program for the Summer 2016 start (NAU)- I know the deadline is coming up January 30... just wondering who else is applying/has applied, and how you're feeling? Excited to start? Nervous you won't get accepted (like ME!)? Just wanted to say "hi" and get connected!

But the orientation is listed in the acceptence letter is sometime in july. Doesn't summer semester start in may?

The letter says: "Note that NAU will have a mandatory orientation in March."

Hey guys. Just thought you would want to know. The track that I posted that shows us completing in 5 semesters vs 7 is the new and only track that will be offered per ------------------- from NAU

Has anyone not heard back from anyone yet? I spoke to my advisor today and she said it might be because they're still deciding where to place me since a lot of schools are full already. I just want to know if anyone is on the same boat as me :( I'm starting to get worried.

So when would we graduate exactly (if we start NAU in June 2016)? And do you know if we get to actually walk in the NAU graduation in flagstaff?

Our 5th semester would begin Jan 2018 so it would finish May 2018. He said we could walk at a maricopa college or one of the nau campuses here.

Aw man I really wanted to walk in flagstaff! It's for sentimental reasons as I did that once before :/ But that's awesome that we don't have to extend the BSN portion into that following summer! So if it's 5 semesters, do we also have summer 2017 off?

It's not 5, it's 6. We'll begin this summer, and have classes every semester, including next summer, and then fall and we'll graduate in Spring 2018.

Ya that's right 6 semesters. For some reason in the email he sent me, he didn't count this summer which would technically be our first semester. We will still graduate in May sometime of 2018

SOrry to hear that. =( Are there several schools you're willing to go to? Have you been waiting long to get in? Did you apply to the ADN or CEP?

I applied for CEP and I put about 3 schools as my choices. All three are full so my advisor said they're trying to see what they can do with the extra applicants since they have more applicants than slots available :(

NAU CEP Update: I got a call this morning in regards to my application I submitted registering to NAU. The letter and contract from the MCCCD instructed us to enroll at NAU as soon as possible. I did this almost a couple of weeks ago. There was no option for the fall 2016 program at the time of this application submission so I went with the only option given. The call I received this morning was from an admissions counselor trying to find out what was going on. Basically if you have not applied online to be admitted to NAU, don't do it yet. The counselor mentioned that NAU should be sending out info detailing what is to be done sometime in the next couple of weeks. There is a fee that collected to submit your application and it will flag the admissions desk, so if you already did what I had done you could expect a call. Just my experience with the situation.

That is not a fun situation. =( I hope that you don't have to wait!
