January CEP applicants?

Hi fellow students! I am applying to the CEP program for the Summer 2016 start (NAU)- I know the deadline is coming up January 30... just wondering who else is applying/has applied, and how you're feeling? Excited to start? Nervous you won't get accepted (like ME!)? Just wanted to say "hi" and get connected! :yes:

I'm really hoping it will be tomorrow!! fingers crossed :)

But I emailed that nursing domain email address and they said it wouldn't be till march they would announce it but I thought last year they did in feb! I still haven't heard anything from my advisor though.. Let me know if anyone hears different from gateway

The nursing domain does not handle anything involved with CEP, so they were probably referring to the standard placements. At least I hope!!

I have also called the number on the placement site and they said that the CEP are handled at the individual colleges, so they don't have any info. Hopefully, we will find out soon. Anyone here apply to the CEP with GCU?

Well, this must be the reason why some people are so adamant about the March dates, and others are so sure about the February. I know I was told several times when I turned in my (CEP) application that we'd hear back "middle of February," and most everyone on this thread has verified that this is what they were told as well. I know on the Maricopa Nursing Facebook group there are several people who very strongly keep saying "MARCH!" in a sort of annoying, know-it-all style. I have kept my mouth shut over there but it makes sense that since CEP is placed first, that the ADN-only program wouldn't find out until March.

Anyway........... I seem to be so long winded lately! I didn't apply for GCU - did you?

My advisor at MCC said this: Official emails should be going out (hopefully) either February 26th or February 29th.

Hope that answers some questions.
