  1. No, GCC :)
  2. Check your e-mails! I just got a couple about the NAU application and info sessions! I registered for the Thurs info session and put the Tues, June start as my preference for the class. Definitely getting more excited now and looking forward to meeting some of you in person!
  3. I'd love to use the e-textbooks during class or as a reference. I'd definitely still need the hardcovers at home to take notes from. :) I remember someone mentioning in another post - and can't find it now, if course - that there were downloadable reference apps that were useful during class. I was also wondering if we would need to access Elsevier online for tests or reference while we're in class, too.
  4. Hello! I was wondering if any of you currently in or recently out of the Maricopa nursing program would recommend getting a laptop or tablet? I imagine it would help when it comes to using e-books instead of regular textbooks, but with anything else? I'm debating getting a cheaper one exclusively for school. If it's useful, tablet or laptop? Thanks!
  5. Just got a clarifying e-mail from NAU. Check your inbox. :)
  6. That's what I was told. :)
  7. I sent an e-mail about the NAU app to an advisor this morning and heard back. She advised to wait to be contacted by NAU, and no need to withdraw the app (even though I applied for the wrong semester :) ).
  8. arc1 - sent a request, and to the other as well :) I looked up the NAU application and I did actually apply to the Spring 2016 semester. Of course! Lol, I didn't even notice at the time. At the time I put down Online and Undecided, as I figured that could all be modified. I'm going to give them a call later today and I'll let you all know what they say. I was trying to get it done ASAP, since the paperwork we had to fill out said "immediately" on the section that required initials and I was worried NAU would need that to contact for orientation.
  9. arc1- Sorry, been so busy! Have you heard back from the admin yet? I honestly like both as well - that group would be a great resource for sure. Why not both? Can't hurt and then the new one could be deleted if it turns out to be completely redundant. Congrats to all have heard back by now!!! I applied to NAU at the same time I got my acceptance letter, but still am not officially enrolled. Does anyone know how long it takes to be accepted on that end as well? All my anxiety is right back where it started...lol.
  10. Congrats to everyone!! I'll bet the rest will be following soon enough. :) And so do I, arc1. The Maricopa Nursing FB page mentioned in an earlier post made me think of starting one for our specific cohort. What do you think?
  11. Just heard! I got my first choice with NAU/GCC weekends and am so excited! Check your emails...
  12. None here. Anxiety is amping up again, lol.
  13. I am still waiting! I felt much better when my advisor let me know that they're hoping to have answers by the end of next week... So one week from today! Where did you apply to?
  14. No, she didn't say that I got in. I'm still waiting. She said that they'd be notifying everyone hopefully next week. I applied to GCC/NAU. First choice GCC weekend, then GCC evening, then GWCC evenings.
  15. Congrats!!! I heard back from an advisor at GCC, where I applied, and she said they were still processing, with e-mails hopefully going out next week. :) Good luck to everyone else still waiting!
