Welcome.... This is a thread created for January 2014 Broward College students and others who are interested in there ADN program. We all have so many questions and concerns about the program.
We are 7-8 months away from sitting in the first class of the January 2014 nursing program. What have you been doing to prepare for this? What pre-req's do you have left to take? What inspired you to become a nurse? Is BC your first school of chose? Are there any other programs your interested in?

Hi all! I'm a beginning central campus nursing student .
Can someone whose already finished their first nursing semester break down for each course which books and supplies are absolutely needed, don't include the good to have/optional books/supplies for math dosages , process 1 & 2 , pharm, and clinicals for process 1& 2 . Please and thank you . No need to include uniforms in the list I got that :)

Hey there, I just finished my first semester at Central and now I'm going into GI/GU next semester. The books that you absolutely need for sure are:
Perry and Potter Fundamentals 7th or 8th edition doesn't really matter
Perry and Potter Skills technique
Davis Drug Guide
Strategies Techniques Approaches to Critical Thinking

Is this for South campus only? Does anyone know if all campuses are on the same learning schedule?
