We are 7-8 months away from sitting in the first class of the January 2014 nursing program. What have you been doing to prepare for this? What pre-req's do you have left to take? What inspired you to become a nurse? Is BC your first school of chose? Are there any other programs your interested in?

I'm going to north campus and we dont need the pharm book. not sure about the math book yet. I will be getting mine on dec 9 when my fin aid kicks in.
Does anyone know if we will be utilizing any online codes or cd's with our books? I know I'm asking a lot of questions but I'm paying out of pocket this semester & I need some guidance. Amazon has great deals, but if I need a code or CD I will be screwed just getting a used book.

I've only used mine to study but it's not mandatory.
Did anyone else's financial aid for winter disappear. All of the sudden it says I have receivables due. I'm so confused and scared. There's no due date either I don't want my schedule to drop whyyyyyy (((

Go to your myBC page. Under financial aid go to "awards". The amount shown for winter is the total except they cut that in half. So if you receive $2000 for winter then you can use $1000 right now for the first session and the other $1000 for classes that start in March. It's stupid I know but in the nursing program you choose your classes for the whole semester and pay for it in the beginning which means that the other half of financial aid (2nd half of semester) is refunded back to you.
