Welcome.... This is a thread created for January 2014 Broward College students and others who are interested in there ADN program. We all have so many questions and concerns about the program.
We are 7-8 months away from sitting in the first class of the January 2014 nursing program. What have you been doing to prepare for this? What pre-req's do you have left to take? What inspired you to become a nurse? Is BC your first school of chose? Are there any other programs your interested in?
Hello everyone! I'm new to all nurses and I just applied in August for BC nursing program. I'm getting so anxious to hear if I've gotten in lol. Are you guys doing anything special to prepare yourself? What campus do you plan on attending?
So today I asked the lady in the health admissions at central campus if they had any news about when they would be making decisions and she said that probably at the end of the month(September) we would be hearing from them.
Hi everyone! I applied to the Broward College Nursing program in the beginning of September in hope of getting accepted for January 2014 entry. I've just been waiting for the decision. What is everyone's status?! Mine says den-transcript not evaluated.
Wow I can't believe they changed it again so now you don't need micro. I had to wait a whole semester to apply just so i could take it smh. Oh well at least i got it done. My status currently says Denied-Pending Depart Approval. I think it's because i am waiting for them to input the waiver for the hcp course because i didn't have to take it (because i have a hha certificate). Anyways, good luck to everyone and please let us know if your status changes :)

Wow! That sucks but yea at least you don't have to worry about it. Do you have any points yet?
Yeah I think a lot of people had to wait to finish Micro to be able to apply and now they change again.Oh well at least I had a great professor for Micro..my status says application in review..it has been like this for a while. It's probably gona take a little bit longer for us to hear something back from them with all the changes now.
