I talked to ***** a few months ago about the admission process for spring 07'. She told me that the acceptance letter will be sent out by December. that's a long wait..as for the interview process, they never did that. Good luck and be patience

when should the pax exam be taken to be considered for the program? new to this!

I am hoping to get into Charity for Jan 07 also. **** told me the same thing about December. I don't believe that though, because we would need to know before December so we could register for our classes. I think we will probably hear in Oct or Nov. ***** told me today that the committee is meeting on Aug 31 for the Jan class. I took my pax last august (the day before Katrina hit) but I didn't submit my application until Jan 2 . Good luck trying to get in!Hopefully we will hear something soon

Hi, I also spoke to ***** today. She had no idea when we would hear anything, so I am also cautiously optimistic for the Spring of 07. Hey everyone, my name is rachel, I am also waiting to receive my letter. I need to get all of my shots still (except the hep), Has anyone else started there shots? Anyone from the northshore or chalmette?

I'm from the northshore, larryrachel. I started all of my shots before Katrina hit b/c I was told it takes 6 months and I wanted to get them out of the way. I just went to my regular doctor to get them done.

That is were i plan to do mine, I live in slidell right now but i will be back at my house in chalmette is a few weeks.

I was hoping to go with my friend too, but it didn't work out. I live in Slidell too. I grew up in Chalmette, but moved over here when I was 14. I can't wait to go to Charity! I wish we would get our letters. But I know it will be a LONG wait because they haven't even done committee yet.

I had called before and **** told me the letters would go out in Sept. and i called today and ms. butler said Sept. too. So i am going to hope that is the true. December would be way to late anyway, we have to know if we are in before registration for spring. I can't wait to start either, i am finish with all my pre-reqs and just want to finish.

September sounds much more reasonable. I am almost finished with my pre reqs. I have to take A & P 2 and my fine arts this fall and then I will be done.
