Ivytech 2015 Fall Admission

Published

Hi!

I didn't see a thread for this and wanted to start something up. I have read up on discussions online, talked to people I know, and watched some youtube videos to see how other are doing. I just basically want to know where everyone is at in the admission process. What are your teas scores? Have you applied? Which program ASN or LPN?

Thanks and good luck!

I turned in my app yesterday. Did anyone apply to both RN and PN? Do most people apply to both "just in case?" I have no idea what a "good" point score is!
im not sure either I have heard its more than just points, I had 2 friends apply at same place and the one with the higher score didn't get in, I am applying to both just in case

I considered it for awhile, but feel pretty okay with my score. Plus due to some issues, we're trying to another baby so I figure if I don't get it and have to take a year off, then oh well.

Is there anyone applying for the lpn in logansport?

I am applying to the Evansville ASN program with a score of 146. There were two other people on here who had all A's in prereqs and an 86.7 on the TEAS. I got the same score to the tenth! Good luck, everyone.

How do you know that, kelrae3k?

Nevermind, I reread that. I thought you somehow knew the scores of other applicants, but no I understand! :)

I am one of those with the 86.7 TEAS! :)

I did apply to both just in case. I honestly want asn but at the same time one more year sounds wonderful!! LOL I only applied to one school and so I figured I needed to do something to better my chances. Its really because I don't want a rejection letter and nothing else. I think an A in all pre reqs without any do overs should get you in but its all a point system.

I will say that about a month ago, my advisor mentioned that the highest score she'd seen of the fall applicants at my location was a 146. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, but that's exciting news :)

Hello Everyone!

I spoke with my Advisor today in Evansville campus and she said as of yesterday (March 31) there had been 50 students who've turned in their applications so far. And depending on how many more turned in their applications today, there was probably a 40/60 chance of getting accepted in the Program. I turned in an application for both Programs and I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for either one.

Hi all. I applied to the ASN program at Indy and Columbus. I applied with all A's and a 77.8 Teas. My total is 137.7. I wish it was a bit higher like 140. But i am still hopeful. :)

I just totally messed up! I thought when we wrote in what areas we wanted to apply to that meant it would just go into the Ivy Tech system to each school I selected. I was just told today by the secretary in that office that I was supposed to take an application to each individual school. Apparently, I only applied to 1 school (Richmond) and not the other 2 I wanted to apply to. AND I handed in my 2nd score from Teas V and asked that secretary if I needed to change anything on my application since I retested and she said no that she would take care of it. I just read my email from the person in charge of applications and she had told me before that if I decided to retest she would give me back my application because the date would have to change for when I tested or otherwise there would be a discrepancy. I am totally scared that everything on my application is messed up and I just took my chances from possibility to none...

I applied with 3 A's (finishing one prereq this semester) and 78.8 on my Teas V test. If I get an A in my last class it gives me 138.7 total points. I was really hoping to apply to Muncie, Richmond, Anderson. Anyone have a problem like this where the application might be messed up? Did you guys really have to take your application to each school you wanted to apply to?

I sent a copy of my application packet to each school.
