Ivytech 2015 Fall Admission

Hi!

I didn't see a thread for this and wanted to start something up. I have read up on discussions online, talked to people I know, and watched some youtube videos to see how other are doing. I just basically want to know where everyone is at in the admission process. What are your teas scores? Have you applied? Which program ASN or LPN?

Glad you got in at SB, but I'm really surprised you didn't get in to Valpo/CP with a 141. We have someone that was accepted with a 135. Are you sure you had 141 points?

Yes, I am thinking perhaps Valpo did not get updated A&P grade since I just re took it this last semester. That is the only reason I could think of...Either way, I would have declined since I did get accepted into the S Bend program. :)

Just some encouragement for any one who may not have gotten in. I started the program in Kokomo last fall and didn't make the original cut. I had a teas in the high 80's but not perfect grades. I was super bummed because my teas scores were in the top 93% nationally but a couple weeks into June got a call that a spot opened and was mine. I know of at least one other person in my class that had the same happen to them. So don't give up hope. It's also not a reflection of how you will do in the program. I am doing very well in all my classes

So the Ivy Tech in South Bend made an error in my application and I was accepted as of 7/30/15 in the LPN program with a 117!! So glad I took a chance to talk with the Dean of nursing :) Sorry the post is so late!

YAY!!!! So glad you actually made an effort to get it sorted out. Many people would have just accepted the declination letter. Congrats Brebre41!
