Ivytech 2015 Fall Admission

U.S.A. Indiana

Hi!

I didn't see a thread for this and wanted to start something up. I have read up on discussions online, talked to people I know, and watched some youtube videos to see how other are doing. I just basically want to know where everyone is at in the admission process. What are your teas scores? Have you applied? Which program ASN or LPN?

Thanks and good luck!

If you'd like responses, you should (1) name the location of the Ivy Tech to which you're referring. No one knows which program you're asking about. Then, (2) post your inquiry in the Student Nurse forum rather than the General forum where you currently are. Or in your state's forum.

The different forums are chosen at the top of this page.

I just basically want to know where everyone is at in the admission process. What are your teas scores? Have you applied? Which program ASN or LPN? I know it is still kind of early, but wanted to start something up. I am applying at Kokomo for ASN and LPN, and probably Logansport and Peru if I can.

Thanks and good luck!

Thank you, I'll take it off of the general forum.

Hi, I just took my TEAS V test yesterday and was told by the person in LRC that I should not have to retake my test with the score I had. The score was 73.3% and ranked 74. I am not even sure how I should not have to retest with that score because of the scores I have been seen on this forum. My score seems low to apply. I am trying to talk with nursing office to see if I can retest even though I turned my application in yesterday with the score I had but I just don't feel like it is good enough. . . so hopefully I can retest and get my score up. I have had all A's so far and just waiting for my PSYCH score this semester. I am applying to Ivy Tech Richmond, Anderson, Muncie. How has everyone else done?

Hi ktmt24! I think you have a good shot with a 73% on the teas and having all As. You still have time to take the teas again before applying deadline of april 1. It also depends on the schools that youre appling to. Since its spring there may not be as many applicants. Good luck! I take my teas tomorrow!

Hi, I am applying to the Fall 2015 ASN program. I am going to apply to the Gary and Valparaiso programs. I got a 78.0% adjusted individual total score on the TEAS with a preparedness level of: advanced. I have A's and 1 B in English 111. I have a total initial point score of 134 for the application. Is anyone else applying to Gary or Valparaiso for the April 1st deadline?

Hi. I am applying in Lawrence and got a 77% on the TEAS with A's in my classes. My advisor said that I have a decent score at 137.5 but I am retaking the TEAS next week. I would really like to have at least 140 points. I will be very curious to see what everyone else is applying with. Good luck to you all!

I am applying to Ivy Tech North Central (South Bend). I took the TEAS today and got an 86.7%....I am pretty happy with that! I have all A's in the 3 pre-requisites, so I'm hoping that's good enough. I'm not sure how competitive South Bend area is.

I have the same score as you! Down to the .7 on the Teas! I'm pretty happy with my 146/160, and am applying for a Fall entrance.

I am applying for Fall also. I'm really nervous. I got an 82 on the teas and I have A's in English and Psychology but I got a B in A&P which gives me a total of 132 so that makes me wonder if my score will be high enough. I'm applying for both RN and LPN in Indy, Muncie and possibly Kokomo, I'm still debating on that one. I wish everybody good luck! We are going to be nervous wrecks the next couple of months.

Good luck everyone! I'm applying to the RN program at Columbus and Madison. I have all As in my prerequisites and scored 75.24 on my TEAS for a total of 135.24 points. I would really like to take the TEAS again but can't due to application deadline. Would love to hear from others with your grades, TEAS scores and what school you all are applying to. Again, best of luck to everyone!
