Ivytech 2015 Fall Admission

U.S.A. Indiana

Published

Hi!

I didn't see a thread for this and wanted to start something up. I have read up on discussions online, talked to people I know, and watched some youtube videos to see how other are doing. I just basically want to know where everyone is at in the admission process. What are your teas scores? Have you applied? Which program ASN or LPN?

Thanks and good luck!

Sierra

I've already applied to both programs in Evansville with hopefully a 131.7 if I can maintain my A in aphy. I only made a 70.7 on teas (I only took it once as I wanted to save second attempt in case I don't get in this time) but got all A's on pre reqs. Very unsure if this will get me in but I would be happy with even a lpn. I hope to hear from others who are in Evansville Indiana about their score so I'll know if I have a chance! I am 39 btw and in college for first time for this program after working in hospital for 8 years. Some things are worth it!

I got a 69.3 on the teas and I got Bs in both anatomy and psych and an A in eng... but I am not sure how to count my score? but I am going to apply everywhere In the south and west

If its for Ivy tech you take teas science and reading and multiply the total for that subject times .30 for English and math take that times .20. Ob the courses you took its 30 pts for a in anatomy and 20 for a b. I was able to go onto the nursing site and find teas and found rules for calculation there. There are a total of 160 pts possible. If you are going to different school they all calculate differently. Hope this helps! Good luck.

Are you applying to South Bend?! :)

haha im still confused I guess

on my nursing info its says there is 190 possible points

Are you looking at the most recent admissions packet? This year A&P II was dropped from the pre-reqs dropping the total points possible from 190 to 160.

I see now, that make sense I did forget about the drop

I turned in my app yesterday. Did anyone apply to both RN and PN? Do most people apply to both "just in case?" I have no idea what a "good" point score is!
