matilda...dont sweat it yet...i know of 3 people that scored higher than another person...just by a couple points, were all friends and have been figuring up our scores to make sure that were all getting in, and the one with the lower points got her letter but 3 in the middle haven't gotten theirs yet, so my guess...they sent them out in batches or something. but its coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another positive note...completely off topic.....but I recently found my sister after 16 years! Doing a paternity test just to be 100% sure but YAY! I'm gonna be a nurse...with a sister!

Indymom, congrats on finding your sister that is the coolest thing ever. Does she live close by?

I have an older brother that was adopted that I have often thought about finding. But, I'm afraid of not having a happy ending. Maybe someday I will get the courage. I'm lucky in that I do have an older sister. Sister's are great!!!

And the group pic thing cracked me up too!

Congrats to Brandi!!! I kind of figured you were in based on some of the other comments but it's so nice to have that letter in hand!!!

WishN...she is in Virginia. We are planning a trip this summer to meet half way and catch up.

The happy ending thing....I found her mom 10 years ago and was told my sister wanting nothing to do with us. I decided to start looking again because I wanted to hear it from her instead of second-hand. Turns out her mom never even spoke to her about me finding her.

I'm glad I looked again because I would have never known.

I guess everyone has their reasons, but it's all turned out just fine. We have tons of things in common and I feel like I've known her all my life.

We'll all have to wear "Hello my screen name is" stickers to orientation. LOL

on another note.....I started taking Chantix today....I want to stop smoking before school starts, wish me luck!!!

(and feel free to pester the 'bleep' outta me about it!!! :nono: DAILY!) lol cuz im gonna go nuts! :hdvwl:

:urck: I've heard quitting smoking is one of the hardest things there is to do. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

I remember quitting smoking. I was very cliche about it. I quit at mindnight on New Years the night I met my fiance. I'm so glad I did because now I can actually walk up and down my stairs without losing my breath. I don't stink anymore....that's always good. LOL

OH....buy a bunch of candy canes in different flavors. They help a lot. All the different flavors keep the boredom away. what else....Twizzlers...the twisty kind.

Thanks 2b and indy.....I can't wait to be able to breathe!!!! It'll be a refreshing change of pace :chuckle I'm going to buy a bike today, and I got the kids both new bikes...so I'm gonna try not to gain 50 pounds in the process! :eek: Welp...I gotta run, too dang much homework to do for summer! I quit using chantix a year ago feb. don't try to quit, just take the meds. and it just happens. I took it for 3 weeks and 2 days with no result, and then I just did not crave a smoke the next day. I had 1 to 3 a day, and then a week later realized that I had not smoked in 4 days! I took it another 3 weeks, because I could not beleive that it was really happening! I had smoked almost 3 packs a day for over 25 years, and since quitting have not craved one, and I feel as though I never smoked! best of luck to you!!
