I beefed up my summer course load and plan to take MAT 118, COM 102, and IVY 104, all online. Anyone else taking these?
I quit using chantix a year ago feb. don't try to quit, just take the meds. and it just happens. I took it for 3 weeks and 2 days with no result, and then I just did not crave a smoke the next day. I had 1 to 3 a day, and then a week later realized that I had not smoked in 4 days! I took it another 3 weeks, because I could not beleive that it was really happening! I had smoked almost 3 packs a day for over 25 years, and since quitting have not craved one, and I feel as though I never smoked! best of luck to you!!
OH YOU JUST MADE MY DAY!!! Everyone's jaw about drops when I say I smoke 3 packs a day...and I was scared to death that this stuff may not work since I smoke so much. So just keep taking it no matter what? Is that right? I took the 1st one today and havent slowed down a bit...how was the nausea for you? My sister said it was just too much to deal with, but honestly I don't care or at least I hope I wont care.
I had nausea, but not if I ate something(which the label says) my doctor knew that I really did not want to quit smoking(I loved to smoke!) so she told me not to try, or pick a quit day, just take the meds twice a day and don't think about it if possible. I did what she said, and quit like I said before. It was effortless for me, and a couple friends of mine did the same. They took longer to quit than me, one 6 weeks and one 8 weeks. But they both have stayed off smokes and also feel that they have never smoked before. One friend had some depression feelings, but knew that it was a side effect and was over it after a few months. If you are like me and don't want to quit, this is the stuff!!!
I just spoke with the student services desk in Richmond and was told that our letters won't go out UNTIL THE END OF JUNE!!! I may completely lose my mind if I don't know before then!!! PRAY FOR ME!!!:scrm:
I am very confused at the moment because a friend of mine that is also trying to get into the program just sent me an email and said she did not get into the RN program at Richmond, and that she missed it by 5 points. That is all she said. I am not sure where she got that info unless she received a letter. I have not heard back from her yet.
I wonder if Indy will tell us what the cut-off was. I have a few friends that applied for Fall too but I don't know if they got in or not.
Richmond isn't giving you guys much time, are they? We are having orientation in late June and will have to get all our shots and all taken care of. Hopefully you all have time to take care of it all.
I had an MMR titer done and they said I will have to have the vaccine again. Bummer!
The phlebotomist at St. Francis south was really good though. I never even felt the needle and I'm a big whimp. I was impressed =)
She gave me a little heads up too.....she said a lot of the drs and nurses don't know how to draw blood and all that so a phlebotomy course will be a big benefit later.
I think I'm gonna take one just for the sake of doing it.
I'm not sure because we haven't had orientation yet but I went ahead and got my physical out of the way. I've been told you need a two step TB test, MMR, hep b series.
I'm sure there are a couple more but I can't pull them off the top of my head. I would schedule a physical now though because many times it could be months before you can get an appointment.
