Ivy Tech Thread

I beefed up my summer course load and plan to take MAT 118, COM 102, and IVY 104, all online. Anyone else taking these?

Wwwoooooooohoooooo!!! Talk about waiting till the last minute. LOL

What sucks is I won't be home tomorrow. We're doing another motorcycle run for charity and I won't get home till like 8:30 tomorrow evening. I guess I'll know then. I'm excited!!

CONGRATS!! :yeah: I was just wondering what were your scores like.. Im trying to figure out where I stand... and going crazy in the process.:eek:

I had fairly high scores at least for this region. I had 4 A's and a TEAS score of 85. I know the scores vary from region to region. Best of luck!

I don't know if you were asking all of us who got in or those in a certain program. But, I will give you my scores too. I had 4 A's in the pre reqs and an 87 on the TEAS and 3 points for being in region gave me a total of 210.

I'm looking forward to reading some more acceptance letter posts!!!

indymom4...What were your scores? I am still waiting for my letter from Indy and Muncie... it did not come today. I had 4 A's and a 91 on the TEAS plus the 3 points for the region. Total of 214 points for Indy and 211 points for Muncie.

Congrats to those who got in and those of you who are still waiting...I feel your pain!! I am soon to begin my second semester of the ASN program (Indy) in August. I am excited to get back! Again, congrats! Study hard and I am here if anyone has any questions or just needs support! =)

Dannelboo....I went to a uniform place at Edinburgh a couple weeks back and the guy there said he sells to Ivy Tech Columbus students and they require the Hunter Green Landau brand scrubs. Is Indy the same? I'd like to go ahead and buy my stuff now while I have the money.

I think it was you before that mentioned a place downtown that Indy uses....Uniform something or other?

I wish places weren't so picky on uniforms.

I wish I could say yes, that would work--however, you have to buy the uniforms through the Uniform House if you are going to Indy. There is a store downtown and one in Carmel. They are Cherokee brand and consist of white tunic scrub top and green pants. The sizes run large so I recommend going in and trying them on. You will need two name tags too, which the Uniform House will make right there. Once you order your uniform and labcoat, they will embroider the Ivy Tech logo and call you to pick them up when they are done. I think the whole uniform runs about $60.

Fantastic! Thanks!! My letter says we have to pay $80 lab fees the day of Orientation......will they let me use financial aid for that fee and the uniforms? If not, I might be telling my landlord to take a number this month. LOL
