Ivy Tech Thread

I beefed up my summer course load and plan to take MAT 118, COM 102, and IVY 104, all online. Anyone else taking these?

Specializes in DD, HHC, Med Surg, PCU, Resource.

I would look further into it. My Ivy Tech papers regarding grades clearly states they round the grades.

I know of 2 cases where rounding made the diffrence in grades. My friend got an A in ANP 1 after a test question from the final was thrown out and her grade after rounding ended up being A.

Then while I waited for my final in ANP 2 to be graded the girl in front of me had hers rounded up to an A. She thanked the teacher and the teacher said no problem, she was required to round them.

If it were me I would def. look into it. Certainly wouldn't hurt anything.

Still no letter from Indy!!! :hngon: :( but the lady in the office said she was "hoping" to get them out today!!!! but "no promises"

DO IT make the call... I know how you feel the people at Valpo said they are going to try to get the letters out today! :confused: GOOD LUCK!

I just spoke with a rep in the office in Richmond and they hope to send out letters next. I DON'T WANT TO WAIT THAT LONG! WAAAAAAA!!!

I can never get ahold of anyone when I call Indy. It always gets kicked to voicemail and getting a return call is like asking someone to rip off their right arm. I bet they get alot of calls though and they probably get tired of answering the same question all the time. I wonder if they offer a class in patience. I need it desperately!!!

Are you calling the main nursing office? If so, then it's best to try one of the heads of the department versus calling the general number, since it's the secretary answering the phone.

I was at school yesterday (lawrence) and she said that letters were going out today!!!! WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO....let everyone know when you get yours!!!!!
