I beefed up my summer course load and plan to take MAT 118, COM 102, and IVY 104, all online. Anyone else taking these?

I am applying to Gary and Valpo. I am turning in my app as soon as I get done with this last test.

The syllabi for my 100. 101. 106 classes got posted on blackboard today. It is not too awful bad but, I'm scared anyway.

100~chapter 1 needs to be read (not bad) week 2- 5,6,7 & handout due

101~chapter 4 needs to read week 2 a quiz and start skill check offs. & math handout due

106~chapters 1,2,4 need to be read week 2 TEST #1 & chapters 5 & 6

If mine is part time, I'm sure you guys are twice as busy. My hat is off to you guys!

I'm also taking Micro and an online computer class, that looks like it will be pretty easy. I think I'l be all right. (trying to talk myself into it)

I am so excited, scared, nervous !!! Here we go!!!

I don't envy you at all with the taking Micro with the nursing classes. You know what though....I'm gonna help you talk yourself into it. Micro was super fun, super easy, and the lab instructor I had was the best ever! Pigs also started flying last week AND the grass is now blue =)

Seriously though....hats off to YOU!!!!

I wish my syllabus was posted already for Fundamentals but it's not there yet. Bummer =(

Can you guys believe it's almost here? I'm terrified for Monday. We have assignments due the first day! Wish-goodluck with Micro. It's not that bad but I also took it before the program. However, I have to take Adv. Human Phys. at some point in the next two years while I'm in the program! Please do not envy me haha! Goodluck everyone, I know we'll all be just fine. :D

rock.....do you think it will be helpful to save that class until a Summer semester, or towards the end when you will already have a good solid knowledge of body basics?

Indymom...do you mean Adv. Human Phys.? If so, I want to wait until next summer and take it, but I don't even know if they offer that course during the summer. I was going to try to find out and if not, just take it next semester when we have less credit hours. I think I'll be fine since I've had ANP 101 & 102 but I heard it was tough.

I'm also taking Micro this semester along with Math 118 and English 112. If I make it into the program, I will have my life skills class and advanced human physiology left to take as co req's. Indy, I think taking those over the summer is a great idea.:specs:

I applied last week for the spring 09 asn in fort wayne. Anyone know how long it takes to hear from them? I have a total of 215 points, so I hope that should be enough to get in!

Well then you really won't envy me because I have advanced physiology yet to take too! LOL!

The plan is to take it next semester. I will have 6 credit hours in nursing. Add the ANPH 201 @ 4 credit hours, then I will add one other 3 credit hour class that will count towards my BSN for a total of 13 credit hours. I'm not looking forward to it but, I have to go full time to get FA.

My summers are already full with 6-10 credit hour nursing courses, since we are going straight through 6 semesters. So, I think it will be easier for me to do them in the spring and fall. (that is what I tell myself) LOL

Imagine, make sure the Life Skills course you take counts for the nursing program. I took Ivy 070 last semester and was not happy when I found out that particular Life Skills course doesn't count for our ASN program. Now, I have to retake it.

BDWG, I am taking day classes. Micro on MW from 1-2:50, and English 112 from 11-12:15 MW.

215 points is awesome, I'm sure you will get in with that. :yeah:

Have you always taken night classes? I was thinking if you've gone during the day, it's possible we've already had classes together.

I heard that we will have our letters in hand by the end of September....GOD that seems like forever to wait!

I am turning in my application with my measly 202 points on Monday.
