I'M IN! I'M IN!nMy heart sank when I saw the letter sitting on top of the pile in the mail box. I opened it and immediately started crying. It feels so good to see all the hard work I've done for the last year finally starting to pay off! What a great way to start off the holiday weekend!

Congrats!!!! I got my letter from gary and got in too, however I already accepted at Valpo.. But Good Luck and have fun!

when applying to Ivy Tech to start taking the pre-reqs, which option do you select in the "Program applying for" section. I see nothing similar to "pre-nursing" or anything.

I got in with all A's, 92 teas, and 3 points for living in region. I believe that adds up to 215 out of 223. Good Luck to your friend! My letter was postmarked yesterday so maybe she'll get hers on saturday because of the holiday.

Just curious if anyone has taken ANP online? How does it work with the lab? I saw one person say they had to order a fetal pig (WTH!?!). It seems a little odd to have a fetal pig in your house, so I was just wondering how exactly this works!

ETA: I think it's funny the forum blocks out the abbreviation W..T..F..

I took it online. Both 1 and 2. I did not have to order a fetal pig. We had quizzes which were open book online. They were based on the material from the Pierson website and questions that were to be done in the study guide. Then we had to go to campus and take the tests. The labs were online, and some to be done in the home. Make sure to do them and take notes because there is a lab final at the end of the semester covering them all. It is kind of tough too. We had to go to campus for the lab with the fetal pig. It was about 4 hours long and covered several different things...not just the fetal lab disection. Maybe this semester it has changed, but ordering a fetal pig at home? That is strange. I took everything online (all prerequisites) except advanced physiology. That is not offered online.
