Ivy Tech Spring 2020 Hopefuls

I know we still have some time but I imagine a majority of us are taking or have taken the TEAS and are getting ready to get ready for the Spring 2020 application period !! Just thought I could give us a spot to chat, I know I have used the older threads from other years to help me prepare as well!

I take my TEAS (first time) Monday! What is everyone else up to?!

@newyork167 dont be sorry!! it wasnt a big thing at all, just something I thought I would ask. Hope you enjoyed your time traveling and thank you so much for the pictures !! Those aren't bad at all!!

hows everyone holding up??? I've been trying to keep busy so the time will pass.

I do have a question though, this is my first class on campus. School starts monday but I dont need to be on campus until tuesday so what do I do on Monday?? Is there stuff that gets uploaded onto IvyLearn like with online only classes or how does it usually work??

omg! 2 weeks! Its taking For-Ever! lol. Hopefully with fall classes starting today it will go by quickly! Cant wait! :)
How have you been doing? Hope your class goes good! I got my lab kits for a&p 102 and chem 101. Looks like soooo much to do!

I know !! Time is moving soooooo slowly!!!

I know time will zoom by once we get going with classes.

Oh my gosh and YES there is a lot to do but for the most part it's fun stuff. Although, if you have the exact same experiments for chem as I did, BEWARE the very last one had me CURSING like a sailor ?? you had to try and submerge the tubing into the cylinder without any air getting in but even my hands werent small enough to get in there without overflowing the water out all over. It was.... peachy lol

I hope you enjoy it though, aphy 102 was one of my favorites, and I am looking forward to microbiology after going over the syllabus, and for the first time ever NOT doing labs in my house haha

I just took a&p 102 this summer, and it wasn't too bad (even it eight weeks). I am currently in Chem 101, and I already feel so overwhelmed! Who is your instructor? I went with Erin Rissi after a bunch of recommendations on a Facebook page. I figure I'm going to struggle through this, so I want an instructor who wants to help! I never heard from my anatomy 102 instructor, and my grade reflected that. He didn't even post announcements or have due dates on anything, so it was quite confusing.

Yes! I feel the same way, ready to know yes or no!! I feel like I've been waiting since I took my TEAS in JUNE.

I keep checking the 2020 hopefulls file on the facebook group. Everybody posting has such good scores! Im wondering if there is a bunch of us who are waiting to post scores.

These 9 days are going to go by so slow!!!!!

Me too!!!! Everytime theres a new comment. I was thinking maybe a bunch of people dont post until they've been accepted?? It seems to be that way in the comments of the past files.

I'm forcing myself to focus on Micro even though not much is happening lol I love it, not complaining one bit because its SO much easier and less work than online classes ever were, but it is helping the time go by a little bit! I feel like the last half of next week will DRAG though.

I forgot to tell you guys my husband surprised me with a stethoscope for our anniversary ? super excited about that thing still!!

Aaawww, that was so sweet of him! ❤

This past week passed quickly, I had surgery last Monday and class wednesday, but now everything is slowing down. Ugh
