Ivy Tech Spring 2020 Hopefuls

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I know we still have some time but I imagine a majority of us are taking or have taken the TEAS and are getting ready to get ready for the Spring 2020 application period !! Just thought I could give us a spot to chat, I know I have used the older threads from other years to help me prepare as well!

I take my TEAS (first time) Monday! What is everyone else up to?!

What did you all use to study for the TEAS?!?

I got two books to study from the sellersburg library and they were really helpful.

As far as I can tell it really depends on the campus too. I believe a lot of the newer first time students apply for the fall, it's what I've heard anyway! I thought about trying for anderson as well but it would be like an hour and a half drive I think, so I'll stick with just Fort Wayne. There is a fb group online that is all ivy tech pre nursing stuff and application scores etc., I think it's called Indiana Community College Nursing Program. Sometimes it makes me feel better and sometimes it scares me Haha

Have you finished all of your pre reqs and co reqs as well? I have advanced phys left, which I will be taking this fall and I am SUPER nervous!

how much is this program ? I’m applying from Vegas ? How many locations they have ? I’m so confused.

Hey sorry it took me this long to get back! SO I did have all my pre reqs/co reqs done before starting. I did not take advanced phys but I did do Chemistry and micro instead.

In state tuition is a little cheaper but first semester easily was the most expensive and from there it got cheaper. I think all have been less than 4k though and again I think it depends on campus as some may use different books and codes.

I do not know how many programs or campuses there are they are all over Indiana and some only have certain programs too

Good luck to you!
