Ivy Tech Spring 2020 Hopefuls

Published

I know we still have some time but I imagine a majority of us are taking or have taken the TEAS and are getting ready to get ready for the Spring 2020 application period !! Just thought I could give us a spot to chat, I know I have used the older threads from other years to help me prepare as well!

I take my TEAS (first time) Monday! What is everyone else up to?!

Are you in the Facebook group? That might help ease your mind, I cant say I've seen a bunch specifically for the transition program yet but I do know that even lower overall scores seem to do just fine transitioning. I know my friend had a 113 or a 112 and she was fine!!

I am not in the FB group, but I will definitely join. That is good to hear, I really hope I get accepted

Yes! It's called Indiana Community college Nursing Program and if you go look in the files you can look at past scores at each campus.

No problem, I hope it helps! But I am sure you'll be fine and you'll have to come back and let us know how you do ! Or just hang out and chat anyway ?

It is nice to chat with people who are in the same boat...

Hey @newyork167 did they tell you at the bookstore what shoe color we need too?? I am sure they tell us all of this at orientation but besides being something to just talk about to make the time pass, I thought I could start looking around for a decent pair.

I also am waiting to confirm with my professor but the other good news is I dont think I need a book for BIO211 ! The bookstore said there wasnt one listed for mine, so that will be nice if it's TRUE!

Hi! I did my TEAS today and got a total score of 87.3%. I was really nervous, so I'm glad that is over with! I'm just waiting for the TEAS scores to refresh so I can put in my application for the Sellersburg campus. Really excited! Good luck to everyone in this thread, and thanks for pointing me over to the Facebook group!

That's a killer score!! I bet you'll be in for sure!

I love the group because it helps pass the time, especially looking at the old scores over and over again haha, best of luck to you also and if you dont come back before then, let us know how you do!! ?

I’m new to the allnurses website! I took my TEAS exam yesterday! Surprisingly, I scored an 82%, but my prerequisites aren’t so great. I took my prerequisites over 6 years ago and I didn’t really take things seriously. My application score was 121.19. I am sooo nervous seeing everyone’s score! I applied to the Indy campus and another 5 locations that would be about 1hr or 1hr 15min drive. ?

That's not bad at all!!! Your TEASA Score is bomb, And you definitely have some cushion if you applied to 5 other places! I wish I had that flexibility!! I KNOW you will be just fine!

Thanks! I surprised myself on the TEAS. I know the Indy campus is the most competitive so I figured I’d have to apply to other locations. At this point, I just want to get into A nursing program. I’ll be retaking my psych course online this fall, just Incase.

You got this!!

My plan is to retake psych and TEAS if I dont get in this round as well ?
