  1. Hey all! I have been offered a position in a cardiac cath lab. I am trying to figure out what a general salary would be for a registered nurse in the cath lab. I am in Indiana and understand that salaries differ greatly over the country as well as with experience. When I check websites like glassdoor, ziprecruiter, and salary.com I get wildly different figures. Anywhere from 50K to 100K average. Just trying to get a ballpark figure. Thanks!! Clint
  2. @LMAY, I didn't study at all for the TEAS, but thought I would do way better. I was definitely panicking when I got a 77%
  3. I got in with a 137 ? So you should be good! Holy Cow @LMAY! Your score was off the charts! It is crazy how competitive it is to get in!
  4. @Kotylynne, sounds like you are getting some great experience!! The only thing I have learned from clinicals is that I do Not want to work ob/gyn! ?
  5. Well that was the plan but I haven't got much studying done yet. I've read like half a chapter. I think I am pretty wiped out from the past two semesters! ? I know, I keep thinking "just one more class"! LOL
  6. Yeah I agree with @Kotylynne on pharm. I have been a CMA for over 10 years so there wasn't a lot that I didn't already know for that class. But yeah, what Kotylynne said is definitely how to do it :)
  7. That's great! I'm glad to hear you are doing well too!! We too have been virtual this whole time and have only had the chance to do two of our clinicals in person. We were supposed to go back to on campus classes next semester, but when covid flared up again they switched it to virtual. We are still supposed to be able to go to clinicals next semester so that's a plus. Have you enjoyed your clinicals? I have had a blast being in the hospital working! We did have a Summer semester. It's been pretty hectic. I don't know how people can work, even part time, and still manage to have enough time for all the content. It really has flown by though. I can't believe we are almost at the end!! Have you thought about where you would like to work? Best of luck to you as well!!
  8. Hey everybody! It has literally been a lifetime since we were all nursing school hopefuls. Hopefully everybody is still on course and doing well! Next semester is my last semester before graduation. One semester before I am an RN! We have a 4 week break due to the holidays before class starts back up and I am wanting to start studying for complex med surg. I am just not sure what content to focus on. Would love to hear how you guys are doing and your plans for next semester! Holy cow! I haven't been on here since the beginning of the program. LMAY, we are in the same program! Duh! LOL! I can't believe I didn't realize that until now! ?
  9. Hey!! I am super excited! Soooo ready to just get going already! The last 3-4 weeks have been going by soooo slow! lol. This is my last day at my current job. I do have to say that I can tell there are definitely people that are jealous! Anybody else have that experience? The good people I work with are super excited for me, but ya know. The books that we got are huge too! They wont all fit in my backpack, so still trying to figure out how to transport all of that. Hope everybody is doing good! Good luck to everybody! And just like you said, if anybody has questions or needs help please feel free to ask! Im hoping this next year will fly by!
