Ivy Tech Spring 2015 hopefuls!

Hey everyone! So the deadline has officially passed... and now we wait! I haven't seen any dedicated threads for Spring semester yet, so I figured this would be a good way to support each other and provide updates so we can try to get through the month of September together. I hope we can maintain at least a little bit of our sanity until then!

So who else is waiting for the letter(s)?

I also wasn't going to be that person, but called Evansville yesterday...if you read your application it clearly says on or before the 30th... they don't get that our whole future is dependent on this letter.

I applied to Evansville, with a B. However my points were 144/160 and my understanding is that they go solely on points. Waiting is killing me

Joining in kind of late here, but I applied to the Bloomington ASN program for spring and am awaiting a letter. I have all A's in the pre-requisites and a 90.1 on the TEAS V exam. What is nerve racking for me is that I'm certain now that I did the application wrong :( This is my first attempt at the program and I'm brand new to the school since this past summer session. I completed most of my other classes at IU and transferred them in over summer when I took anatomy. I turned in the transcripts for high school and Ivy Tech, but I forgot to turn in an unofficial transcript from IU. The courses that they counted were transferred over to Ivy Tech and show up on the Ivy Tech transcript. My question is and I can only assume the worse... Would I be automatically denied?

I would worry. The advisor I had said many were turned down for errors, even forgetting to sign. It sucks if it is a problem since they have all the info they need. But they say the application is the first test in nursing.

But... keep your ringers crossed for one more week. You have a great score.

I am scared to death I missed something on mine.

Email Pam Thompson, she's the Dean of the nursing school. She is the final authority on everything in the program and can give you a definite answer on whether your app will be accepted or not. (BTW, with those scores, you are a shoe in for ASN.)

I also applied for kokomo, logansport,Peru and muncie. Got a rejection letter from muncie(east region) today:( I know a girl who received her acceptance letter from Kokomo on Monday. However I have not heard anything from them

oh okay thank you brandi. do you know if they send out rejection letters the same time as acceptance? and what was your grades and teas test? I got a 62 on my teas :( so I hope I get in! and good luck to you!

Well I got a 71 on the teas and only 35 out of the total class points for a total of 106. The girl who got in the Rn I think had 125-130 total What is your total?

@ Hallae, I know a girl who got into Anderson who got her letter today, so yeah they've sent them out! Congrats to everyone who got in!!! I'm out of town at the moment so I can't even check to see! Ugh! lol
