I had my orientation yesterday. I checked campus connect today and I am already registered for all of my classes. I'm so excited, it almost official now!:) My major is still undeclared so I'm waiting for them to switch it over. Plus, I'm attending a different campus for the program, so I also have to have my campus changed over. I had no idea that my financial aid would be affected by everything, so now I have to cancel the second half of my loan at my current campus and reapply at my new campus for the spring semester. I really hope it works out and I get it in time. They assured me that I would, so I hope they are right.
I will be shopping for my supplies soon. I can't wait until January!

I am WAG which is very close to TAA. I have a lot of friends who have TAA though. I am getting nervous! Is anyone else? I just keep having this nightmare that something goes wrong before I start. Am I paranoid. TAA is for people who have lost their job to an overseas market.
I looked up WAG and TAA. For anyone else who was curious, but doesn't feel like investigating:
WAG: The Workforce Acceleration Grant is designed to help Hoosiers pay for education and training to prepare for 21st Century jobs. The program provides eligible Hoosiers with up to $3,000 per academic year to help cover tuition, fees and book costs for an associate’s degree or a vocational certification at more than 50 colleges and universities across the state.
The two categories of qualifications include low income participants and unemployed workers.
TAA: The Trade Act programs, Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) and Alternative Trade Adjustment Assistance (ATAA), assist individuals who have become unemployed as a result of increased imports from, or shifts in production to, foreign countries. The goal of the Trade Act programs is to help trade-affected workers return to suitable employment as quickly as possible. To facilitate this goal, TAA certified workers may access a menu of services that include income support, relocation allowances job search allowances, and a health coverage tax credit. TAA participants that require retraining in order to obtain suitable employment may receive occupational training.

On a different note, I was wondering if anyone has gone to a Marion County Health Department to get their immunizations, and if so, what you were required to pay. Did you have to pay a flat $10 administrative fee, or did they charge you $35 for the Hep B shot as well?
I was told by someone who works for the Marion County Health Department that if you show them something that indicates you are a student and the immunizations you are receiving are required by the school, they will administer all of them: for example, two TB tests, two chicken pox vaccines, and a tetorifice shot, all for one flat fee of $10. I was told that MMR vaccines also fall under this category. If you only needed one thing, say the tetorifice shot, it would be $10, but if you needed two or more, it would still be $10. This fee is referred to as an administration fee.
The person I spoke with said that the shots in the Hep B series were the only shots that were not included under the flat rate of $10. You or I would be required to pay a fee of $35 per Hep B shot, along with a flat rate of $10 for any other shots or tests we needed.
However, another poster, Carlos, said that he received vaccinations in Hancock County and didn't even have to pay the $35 for the Hep B series. He only had to pay a flat $10 fee. I believe he told them something along the lines of, "I want to use the Indiana plan," or something like that to receive the reduced rate.
I'm having trouble figuring out what plan he's referring to, or finding people that know what it is called and who qualifies for it.
Did you pay a separate fee for each of the shots you received?
Where I live I got my shots for free, but my tb is $5, which is no biggie:) Hey, I am a bit concerned though--on my background check someone elses name was found relating to my SSN..that is scary to me
