Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....
Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?
I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it :) and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.

i had 197 points, i didn't the 3 extra for living in the certain county or whatever. i didn't get accepted to the rn program at all, i did get a letter for the lpn program saying i can be an alternate if i accept. i don't know for sure if i am going to accept that or not. i am going to look into iuk and maybe go there for rn. i went ahead and signed up for advanced physiology, abnormal psych, communications, and an ivy class for this fall at ivy tech, but if i go to iu then obviously i will drop those classes. the letter i got about being an alternate said something about it being for this fall so i don't really understand what that means because i thought the lpn program was in the spring? so who knows lol. i'm going to try to get ahold of someone at iu and at ivy tech on monday and see what i can figure out. i have until june 8th to either accept or decline the lpn alternate so hopefully i get some answers from the two schools quickly....
gilla...do u live in greenfield? i'm currently there right now haha! my hubby's parents live here. but congrats on your acceptance into lpn! a nice surprise at the end of your day!

tdieterle- you should definitely accept one of the open positions to the lpn program. i would think that with all these people applying to multiple campuses that a lot of the alternates will end up getting in. at least you could have it as a backup in case you don't get into iuk. lafayette is the farthest from my house, so if i get accepted at one of the other 3 campuses, then my spot would be open in lafayette. i'll be sure to post if i'm taking a position at a different campus so you will know if you are moving up the list!
bizandgray--yup, my husband has lived in greenfield forever and i ended up in knightstown in high school but worked in greenfield. so naturally after i met him, i moved here. i haven't looked yet but have you gotten any letters yet?
I got an Ivy Tech letter in the mail and I opened it with baited breath....only to find that it was about student loans!!!! Ughh!!!!! My stomach was in knots for nothing!
LOL on a funny note; I pretty much ripped the envelope to shreds in my haste to see what it was. My husband was laughing. ;-)

I applied to the Evansville campus with a 207 (no region pts). I'm hoping that will be enough, but now that I'm seeing the scores for Lafayette, I'm even more nervous!
Tara-I had heard of a lot of people in previous semesters getting financial aid info during the time when nursing letters come out. That's almost what I thought mine was till I flipped the envelope over and saw that it was from Lafayette.

Ok finally got home and checked the mail and..........I'm in the ASN at Lafayette!!!!!
Crossing my fingers that everyone else's letters come soon!!!
