I've been MIA for awhile now..but...

I"M BACK! =) I got really upset when I FAILED (got a D) on LS3 exam...I needed a break, time to re-evaluate what I did wrong and to get back on track. It was the first and only test i've failed so far and It really took it's toll on my self esteem and drive...BUT i'm back on track (updated my siggy with new dates/grades) and came back here for support! I take Life span psych on 3-10 (this thurs), Micro on 3-31, then re-take LS3 on 4-11, and humanities 6cr CLEP exam 4-30...that should make me FCCA eligible in May, and hopefully get my CPNE dates sometime in August (i'm praying dates continue to come in quickly as they have been this winter/spring) So if anyone is on or around the same track as me, please let me know! I'd like to find someone to go to a workshop with and possible test with around the same time, so that we can support each other!

Hope everyone is doing well!

thanks all! I take lifespan psych tomorrow...yippie..lol. It's scheduled for five pm so i have some time tomorrow to go back through my practice exams. hopeing to be in and out with an A! lol

As far as studying for CLEP i guess it would take as long as you want to get through the CLEP study book. I used the CLEP book for life span psych, and it took me 2wks to read all of it.

Is CLEP the same thing as Dantes? From what I have read, the Ethics is *boring* but it will meet a requirement for bsn :uhoh3: Good luck tomorrow!!

Glad that you were able to get back into the swing of things. You must remember that, "the race is not given to the swift or the strong, but to the one that can endure to the end." What part of Georgia are you in? I currently live in Douglasville but will be moving to the Lawrenceville area soon. What did you use for study material?

Well Back Tasha, I'm working on Micro now also and plan on testing 3/30 then on to H&S and Transitions in April, I am also planning to offically enroll next month. I hope to be FCCA/CPNE eligilble by Aug/Sept of this year since I have all my Gen Eds done after the Micro exam, I agree with Anjule you do inspire many of us here on this site.

Good luck to us all

:yeah:Tasha's back! Girl, you always inspire me to get on it and get it done! :D You are going to be done before you know it! I'm glad to hear that you've heard that CPNE dates have only been 2-3 months out. That's good news for us all!

I have 2 questions for you:

-are you bidding for your closest location, or are you going with first available? (cpne)

-how do you put stuff in your signature? I wanna!

Hey Winter, good luck to you! I took H & S and Transitions in Dec. and Jan. I enrolled Feb. 18th, just took Repro today. I also have all my gen eds, except micro (agh!!) So you're doing micro thru EC? Do you think that was the easiest way to do it? I'm afraid of it. I've been avoiding it for years now! I hope to be eligible around the same time, so excited!

Hey Geaux, yeah I am doing Micro through EC I don't think it is the easiest way but its the fastest for me then if I take it at a community college. It's a lot of material to cover for sure i'm using the TCN module, Micro Cliffnotes, and Microbiology demystifed. I am also making homemade flashcards for studying on the go. I'm excited also we are all moving forward to becoming RN's.

Good luck
