I"M BACK! =) I got really upset when I FAILED (got a D) on LS3 exam...I needed a break, time to re-evaluate what I did wrong and to get back on track. It was the first and only test i've failed so far and It really took it's toll on my self esteem and drive...BUT i'm back on track (updated my siggy with new dates/grades) and came back here for support! I take Life span psych on 3-10 (this thurs), Micro on 3-31, then re-take LS3 on 4-11, and humanities 6cr CLEP exam 4-30...that should make me FCCA eligible in May, and hopefully get my CPNE dates sometime in August (i'm praying dates continue to come in quickly as they have been this winter/spring) So if anyone is on or around the same track as me, please let me know! I'd like to find someone to go to a workshop with and possible test with around the same time, so that we can support each other!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Way to go girlie :) I have missed your posts much but totally understand!! I also NEED to be done by FCCA May 18 deadline (did we need to have those humanities credits out of the way for FCCA?! I didn't think so?) You know exactly where I stand...LS1 Fri, LS2 March 25, LS3 in April (on cruise April 10-17) & transition is in there too. I am studing online in Chatroom A with an EC student a few times a week, and that has been an amazing help. We go through the content guide and break all diseases down into the nursing process but you are a bit beyond that now, but it sure would be great to study NCLEX together.

Welcome back! Im in the same boat you are in. I took LS3 in feb and didnt pass got a D as well. I cant retake it until May. But I take it the fist week so hopefully they will have my records updated soon after, so I can be registar for the FCCA before the 18th. This is my last test before the FCCA and CPNE. If you need a study partner let me know! I don't know what it is with this exam but I can't seem to comprehend it! I better study, study, study!

also yes you can be within 10 gen ed credits to register for both FCCA and CPNE eligible =) origionally i wasn't going to do these gen eds i was gonna knock out FccA and CPNE first then come back and do them, now it's owrked out for the best i suppose!

Tasha,

Welcome back I had been wondering what happened. I got a D on Lifespan 2 and knocked me for a loop for a few months, thought maybe I can't do this but then I got back to studying and decided I have passed every other one with no problem and I can do this too!!! Only have Lifespan 2 & 3 left and micro. Taking my time with both the lifespans I want to have them down so I pass with no problems. As for May 18th someone posted that Excelsior said that is when the FCCA is going on computer but we have been hearing dates like that for a few years now so decided I am just going at my own pace and not letting that date stress me anymore than I already am!:bugeyes::eek: Welcome back and we will be RN's in 2011!!!:lol2:

I just got info on what I am going to do for my gen now too. I am going to take EC 1.0 credit Bio Lab (yuck!) because I needed 0.66 of science (isn't this stupid?!) May 8 and CLEP my Ethics in America through Dantes as soon as I am done with these lifespans. How long does it take to get through a CLEP course?

Hey...sooo glad your back sorry you did not do well on your last exam but you will get it next time...you have been great motivation for me reading your post and following your success . Good luck with the rest of the program
