Colorado RN here. I’ve been with kaiser for almost 10 years. I currently make $52.00/hr. I would guess you are in the $48-$50 range. However, currently we are on a freeze, unless you have OR experience.
  2. Check out Rob's CPNE. I watched his vidoes and set up a sims lab just like him and practiced daily until I could do it with my eyes shut. I was CPNE ready in 5 weeks. You can do this. Just remember once you are there just breath and remember your basics!
  3. I just graduated LPN-RN school. My current employer pays new grads $31 an hour. Good luck finding jobs out there. If I wasnt already employed as an LPN for two years they would not have hired me as a new Grad.
  4. I only studied for 5 weeks. I used robs DVDs and sheri taylors online workshop for 3 weeks! Passed the cpne on my first try. Know your critical elements!!! Stay calm and dont let your nerves get you! Good luck
  5. On my third try, I started over from scratch. I printed out a new content outline, I went over every area until I new it forwards and backwards. I used the practice exams, saunders NCLEX review guide, study group 101 notes! Just remember you know this stuff, take your time and relax!! You can do this!!
  6. CONGRATS, GN!!!! One of the best feelings!
  7. I too, failed LS3 twice! I got reduced times for both. When I failed it the second time they only reduced it to 3 months instead of the 4. If you feel like you can prepair enough in a shortened wait time I would ask for it to be reduced! What have you use to study for this exam? Good luck to you!!
  8. Ive been doing good! I passed the CPNE in July! I offically graduate Sept 16th!! yay! I have not taken my NCLEX yet....I am kind of in a hold position at my job. They will have a RN position in November open up so until then Im going to stay working as an LPN and study for my boards. I plan on taking them in October! Where are you at in the program? Best of Luck to you!! Bri
  9. GOOD LUCK!!! I know you will do awesome!! Sending prayers your way all weekend!! Keep us posted!! GO GET'EM GN!!!
  10. I passed the CPNE my first try too! I bought Robs DVD's and used Sheri Taylors online workshop for about a month. I studied for 5 weeks and passed!
  11. Congrates on getting a date! Best of luck to you!
  12. Good luck! Sending good thoughts your way! Keep us posted
  13. Tasha, Have you tried using saunders NCLEX review to study? I too, failed LS3 twice! The third time I started from the beging of the study guide and used Saunders. I passed! You can do this! Keep your head up! Dont give up now
