Here, let me google that for you
I recently got a RN job and want to review basic medications found in the crash cart. Are there any websites out there that explains why they are used and how it works?
That would be ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Saving), not BLS (Basic Life Saving for health care providers). Big, huge difference... make sure you know what the diff is before you practice outside your scope if you don't have your ACLS (assuming it was not an error in the title of the post).

There's a website for that....http://lmgtfy.com/......
OP.......I know what you are asking, but, there are no drugs involved in BLS (Basic life support). Second. Look on the top of your crash cart. There should be a contents list on the top listing the contents of every drawer including drugs. Copy it and look them up. Each cart is facility and floor specific. What you find on a pedi cart won't be what is on an adult cart. What is on a cart in one department won't be in another cart on an another. Ask your manager if you may open the cart and familiarize yourself with the cart....it was something I required when I was a manager.
Good for you for wanting to get a head of the game!!! Congrats on the new job and Good luck!!!
