Is 22 points good enough 4 Weatherford College

Published

I wanted to see how I compare with all the other applicants, I have 22 points. How many do you have?

The Dreamer,

Yes, you get extra points for the other classes such as Eng, psyc, PE, humanities or fine arts. The maximum points you can get is 5 for the five classes. If you have less completed you will get less points, respectively. The maximum points you can get for the pre reqs is 6 points. Meaning if you have anywhere between 3.5 and 4.0, you will get 6 points, the rest is totally based on how well you do on your teas. According to the Spring start the max you can get for the TEAS is 12 points. email KL and she will send you all the attachments pertaining to the spring entry.... Hopefully this will help.

Best of luck,

Thanks Loly! Could you possibly PM me her email address? I didn't see it listed on the site, just her phone number. Thanks!

All you alternates - keep your heads up. :D I am an ADN student at WC (about to finish up my 1st semester). I was not even an alternate but was accepted at the last minute (got the call on Friday night, started classes on Monday!)

TCC had accepted more students than their usual 100, so a lot of people who were accepted to WC went with TCC instead. So WC accepted ALL of their alternates plus more (which is why I got the call).

Its a WONDERFUL program. The teachers are great. Good luck to you all. :nurse:

@Dreamer-did you get the info you were looking for from KL? I am going to call her tomorrow because I am going to apply or the next semester as well.

I called her this afternoon and she sent me an email with 5 or 6 documents about the program. She is extremely friendly, and was eager to answer any questions I had.

What color are the scrubs for Weatherford ADN program?

Well KL called me yesterday and offered me a spot, I declined the spot. I have decided to attend uta-ap program. I hate that I will not get to meet all of you on july 16, good luck!!!

Well it's nice to know they're already calling alternates :) I wish you the best of luck at UTA. If I had the choice I'd go there in a heartbeat.

Wellll I got into the nursing program at TCC so I guess I won't be meeting you guys in July, TCC was my first choice. :) Good luck to everyone!!!!

What has everyone turned in so far? The letter says just the acceptance/declination form, FAST, and HepB but the blue sheet gives dates for the other paperwork.

Hi I am new to this post I also got accepted to the fall semester at WCC. I turned in everything that the blue sheet, titled Admission Checklist said to turn in by April 26th.
