Is 22 points good enough 4 Weatherford College

Published

I wanted to see how I compare with all the other applicants, I have 22 points. How many do you have?

So who all was in Mr. D's micro class MW 0900 in the fall? Just trying to figure out if I will know any faces at the indoc. And CONGRATS to everyone that got in.............

Hey........was this your first year in the program? What would you say is the hardest part? I just heard from a girl who was graduating Friday night and she said that Half her class was now divorced......and that she never drank or cussed before and NOW she does BOTH! Is it really that bad?

I am starting the program in the fall.

Well that sounds reassuring. Still cant wait to get started.

Dont know if anyone has found this Discussion thread but this seemed to be good info for students who just got accepted. https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-student/nursing-school-must-458460-page8.html

i think that everyone's personal experience is subjective..i am married w/two children and have NO intentions of getting a divorce because of school ((my family is the reason i'm finishing school!!!))

i'm very excited to finish school and other's negative experience isn't going to slow me down! make the best of a situation and it'll all be over w/so quick!

True Red

Do the scrubs have to be a certain kind or just true red? I have been looking online and I am overwhelmed by all that is out there! Thanks for any help.

I was at the office last week. Someone other than KL was at the desk. I asked about the scrubs and she suggested waiting until indoc to find out what sscrubs to buy. She said red, she didnt know which variation of red, but apparently they will tell us what brand to buy as well. I might of gotten a definate answer if KL was there.

Where is everyone from who got into the Fall Nursing Program at Weatherford College? I am from Gordon....which is about 35 minutes West of Weatherford going towards Abilene.

I'm from Bridgeport, 40 minutes north.

I am in Weatherford.

Has anyone else gotten a call (alternates)?

I live in Azle right now, but may move closer to Weatherford when we sell our house this summer.

My husband keeps hoping to move closer also, but our house still needs a lot of work. We have been remodeling it for years now! Weatherford would be the ideal place to live while in the program, plus my kids take Karate there once a week, so it would save us time and money. Just not sure it will happen the first year of school maybe the second...who knows. It is so crazy to think that we will be starting NS so soon.......I have waited so long for this moment and I am super excited and super scared. :uhoh3:
